My phone soon enough rung on the table . Seeing that it was Justin Parker one of the well known billionaires in New York calling , l picked it up . " Yes Justin " , l uttered out . " l do have some business , how about you come over to Jaslyn hotel and discuss about it " , He murmured . " Don't worry l will be there " , l replied and after hunging up the phone call, l walked along the building hallway then pressed the elevator ready to go up and meet him .
" Stop the lift " , A sharp voice called out loudly just as it started . With no word , l stopped it and at that a man and a lady l didn't think I knew entered inside . " Again you Mr Adrian " , Soon enough Henry also entered inside and I nodded my head at him in response . " We all going to the same stop " ,l spoke before my eyes falling on the man who had entered first with a lady .
I looked at him mindlessly but the look he gave me made me to return my gaze to Henry . You could tell it by one look that this man thinks that he is special . Ignoring him , l watched Henry speak to the lady , he called Harriet . Right she was replying to Henry but the man next to her had his jaws clenched with anger .
" Oh ! hello Mark how is your wife , when l saw her on Thursday afternoon , she looked close to tears , you better hold on to her , she is a good woman , it is very hard to find ladies like her " , Henry turned his attention to this man who had his jaws clenched with anger . The so called Mark was about to say something when his phone began to ring distracting him .
Surprisingly he didn't pick it up , he just ignored the call for a pretty good time until when he walked out of the elevator with the lady called Harriet following him . Henry shook his head as he watched him leave . " sorry about that , l just wanted to make sure that his wife is okay , she is a lovely woman , if she weren't taken , l would have said that she would be perfect for you , sorry perfect for every man " , l heard the way he praised his wife and l smiled .
" Perfect for me ? " , l chuckled . " Sorry for that , l just have a soft spot for her , my wife also likes her a lot , she is hardworking " , He went on with praising her , but this time l only had thoughts about the lady l slept with , wondering whether she was also hardworking just like my father wants me to be . Already in the park , seated down , l tried to call Mark again and again but l got no answer from him . I had nothing serious to tell him this time but the kids were nagging him to finish the work a little early so that we could have a family night which of course l knew was impossible .
After trying for a good time , I lastly sighed in defeat then texted him to ring me when he is not busy . " Right come on , let's have fun , go to the ice cream parlor and then go back home for tea " ,l murmured after placing the phone in my purse but then what l got as a response was their sad faces .
l knew why they were sad , they wanted their dad to be around especially Ivan . Per now I felt bad for Ivan , he wants his dad so much in fact he is his role model but then sadly his role model has no time for him . " Will Dad be coming , can we go and get him from work ? " , Ivan asked while sadly looking at me .
" We can surprise him dad , he will love it mummy " , Chrissy added and l felt myself freeze . This was the hardest part now . The last time l went on my own , l was badly embarrassed now l wonder what he will say when l go with the kids .
