Dressed in black pants and a matching top, Hannah walked alongside Raymond as they headed to the room where the assassin who was caught by Lucas was kept. The hallway was dimly lit and silent and their footsteps echoed loudly. Finally, they stopped in front of a small metal door.
"Is he in?" Raymond asked Lucas and the latter nodded. He pushed the door open for Raymond and Hannah to walk in.
Hannah brought out a handkerchief from her pants pocket and tied it around her nose and mouth, leaving only her eyes visible. She walked in after Raymond and Lucas followed after her, closing the door being him.
The room was dimly lit as the only source of light was from a small opening in the roof of the room and the pungent smell of blood wafted in the air.
The three of them looked at the assassin who started thrashing around immediately he heard the door click. He was bound to a metal chair in the middle of the room with a black cloth covering his eyes.
Raymond moved first and sat on the wooden chair in front of the assassin and nodded at Lucas who nodded back and removed the black cloth that was covering the assassin's eyes.
The assassin squinted at the brightness of the room even though it was dimly lit. He had been blindfolded for so long that even the tiniest amount of light would hurt his eye.
He had been beaten up badly as there was a deep wound on his forehead as well as a cut on his lips. It was a fresh wound ss there was still blood flowing down his face from his forehead.
Raymond leaned forward and spoke, "which gang do you belong to?" The assassin kept silent as he wouldn't simply reveal the identity of his gang just because they asked him to. "I don't have all day so speak and don't waste our time". Raymond's eyes were closed and his I'm was placed on his forehead massaging his temple. He was getting tired of this but he had no choice.
The assassin still refused to say a thing and Raymond was getting angrier with the seconds that passed by with the assassin not saying a thing. He stretched his hand backward over his shoulder and Lucas placed a knife on his open palm. Without hesitating, Raymond stabbed the assassin in his thigh which earned him an agonizing scream from the assassin.
The assassin screamed but Raymond didn't stop. He twisted the knife in the assassin's thigh until he was sure that the assassin was ready to speak.
"Are you ready to speak?" The assassin nodded violently as he inhaled and exhaled through his mouth. Raymond drew the knife out of the assassin's leg which earned him another scream.
"Speak!" Raymond ordered but the assassin let out a burst of maniacal laughter despite being in so much pain.
"You won't get anything from me. So just kill me instead of wasting your time". When Raymond heard this, his patience snapped. He was about to stab the assassin again but was stopped by Hannah's palm on his shoulder.
He turned to look at her and she nodded once. He got the message and nodded back at her to show that he understood.
Hannah stepped forward and the assassin's eyes widened. He began to shake violently, making the metal chair he was sitting on rub against the concrete floor, producing an irritating noise.
"Release his hands". Hannah said to Lucas and his eyes widened. He looked at Raymond for his order but Raymond nodded once and Lucas understood. He pressed a button on the small remote in his hand and the assassin's hands were released.
Hannah bent forward and picked the assassin's wrist. He started shaking again but one look from Hannah made him freeze in place. She turned his wrist but there was no mark on it. Picking up his other hand, she did the same thing but there was still no mark on it.
She drew out a knife from her thigh and at the sight of it, the assassin started shaking again. Who would blame him? Hannah, an assassin from the Knight Night gang was standing right in front of him, holding a knife. Blood spills wherever she goes. She is the bringer of death itself. Anyone in his position would react the same way if not worse.
Raymond smiled. He had expected the assassin to react like that to Hannah's presence but he knew that Hannah was not going to do anything to him. She was never a fan of torturing because she saw it as a waste of time instead of just killing the person straight away.
Hannah raised the knife to the assassin's neck and his shaking became more violent. Now that his hands were released, he tried pushing her away but she caught his wrists in time before twisting them backward, making the assassin scream in pain.
"Stay still". Hannah ordered. Even though her voice was low and sounded harmless, the assassin could only comply because he didn't want to anger her. Now that his wrists were broken and in so much pain, he couldn't really do anything, so he just stayed put as Hannah had ordered.
When Hannah raised her hand again, the assassin just closed his eyes and braced himself for the pain she was going to inflict on him but that pain didn't come, instead, he heard the tearing sound of fabric and his eyes flew open.
He saw that Hannah had only torn his sleeve. He thought she was going to torture him but instead, she only tore his sleeve. Any normal person would feel relieved knowing that he hasn't been killed by Hannah but for some reason, the assassin felt like she was just playing with him.
"He is a member of the Red Falcons". Hannah spoke up, answering the questions running through the mind of the three people in the room. She was looking at the upper arm of the assassin where there was a tattoo of a Falcon.
"Red Falcons?!"
