Atlas thought it over multiple times, coming to the same conclusion that the current situation was not an illusion. But how then? How did they stop the bullets if they weren't in an illusion?
He had a few theories, but he wasn't some sort of illusion master. He didn't know how that shit worked.
"Should we head down?" Mers asked upon seeing the situation.
Since the enemy could materialize a force field, it would be reasonable to assume that their own forces wouldn't win.
"What the hell?"
"Did you see that?"
"How did the bullets stop?"
Soon enough, their ordinary forces began to react. One melee fighter in the front dropped his bat and began running away quickly. If this was an apocalyptic world, then his decision was smart. However, unfortunately for man, it wasn't an apocalyptic world, and there were different rules guiding them.
"Hmph!"
Leo retracted his bloody fist from the man's insides and threw his corpse aside.
