Cain trudged along, clutching his injured arm. There was nothing behind him but the bloodthirsty dogs. All gone. In an instant, his entire team had dropped to the ground and the strange dogs appeared a few seconds after.
He watched as they feasted upon the bodies of his soldiers, then on his left arm. It hurt like hell.
'Fuck, what the hell did I sign up for?'
The man cursed inwardly and went to hide behind a nearby building. There was no doubt that he was scared.
'Those Titans are really just going to let us die like that? Maybe they're not even that reliable. Still. How am I supposed to survive Ares now?'
Cain was unable to reason properly. The pain was gradually getting to his mind.
'Haa. I'm really weak, aren't I?' he thought as he collapsed to the ground.
The growls of the strange large dogs were getting even closer. At this point, there really was no point in trying to survive.
'What to do? What to do?'
