Clyde clutched the pistol with zero experience on how to use it. He stared at the approaching monsters and wondered what to do.
'If only I had practised shooting instead of just reading the PDF!'
The teen cursed inwardly as he held the pistol in a haphazard manner. It couldn't even be described as holding the pistol. It looked more like he was holding a book rather than a pistol. Some habits could hardly be changed.
Finally, the dog monsters ripped through the door to the room where he hid. Clyde shuffled back even further.
'They seem to be taking their time to get here. If I were to shoot the first one, the recoil of the gun will leave me unable to fight the second dog monster. Instead, the second one will pounce towards me and tear me apart in an instant.'
While he was debating the two options in front of him, Clyde suddenly felt a burst of confidence from deep within his heart.
