After watching them talk for a few minutes, Ashley watched Natalie walk back to her. The lady pouted and gave her some kind of look as she walked past her and went to prepare Zuka's order.
Ashley watched her with an emotionless face then she shifted her gaze to meet Zuka's. He had been staring at her and he waved shortly as they looked at each other now.
Ashley's eyes widened and she became confused on what to do. She gave him a quick smile and turned around then she quickly looked for a customer to attend to.
Zuka didn't stay so long and left after he had rested from eating. Ashley wondered why he hadn't come to her like he did before. Was it because she had ignored him? Did he get annoyed or something?
She tried not to think too much about it and focus on work for the remaining hours she had left. When she and Natalie had wrapped things up and finally closed in the evening, they left for their homes.
