Amil had to wait for some time thinking about what he heard.
'Maybe I am mistaken'
"Hm....what did you say?" He asked.
"I said I am without a mate; you must be really lively with your young age~"
"Uhh…." Amil for the first time froze in front of someone, he just didn't know what to say. Being a virgin in his previous life and having some play as a kobold was like weird for him. He didn't even know if his little dragon was even working or not.
'Hm…...now that I realize…...no morning wood, no desire for some action. Does this mean I am not healthy?!' His thoughts went wild, putting them in the back of his head, he first decided to work on the situation at the present.
Makeena kept looking at the anxious face of Amil whose facial expression changed from many things starting from anxiety then confusion and lastly determination.
"Pfttt…...Hahahahaha"
Makeena fell on her butt with her hands on her stomach. She couldn't control herself looking at the various hilarious reactions on Amil's face.
"You are really interesting, let's get to work now."
Amil's face became red from embarrassment, he determined to pay the humiliation back one day. The woman was just too overbearing.
"The snake's skin that you got is not enough to make anything, the skins are used in making different types of potions, so their pricing is better rather the whole body."
"I don't want to know how to make potions but equipment to wear."
"hm…why would you do that, your skin's toughness is all you would want in a fight, and the toughness increases with age." Amil thought of what to do, he knew he will not be able to learn this from her. So he just took out a ore from his ring and tossed it to her."
"Hm…not good quality, wait….I think I bought this from the merchant yesterday. He said he didn't have more. How did you get this?" Makeena examined the ore and looked at Amil for answers.
"That's because I was the one who sold it to him."
Makeena's eyes shone with excitement.
"What? Then that means you have more?!" She came very close to him, Amil felt his personal space breaking apart.
"Yes, that's why I wanted you to teach me how to make weapons," Amil said. She kept thinking about something till she made eye contact again.
"So, let's do it like this, you will sell me some of it at 4 gold per ore, and I will teach you how to make good weapons."
Amil couldn't get the hidden meaning of the message, he furrowed his brows and retorted.
"Why would I do that, the merchant will give me 5 for one, I ain't having a loss here."
"Urghh…what I mean is that your mother asked me to give you basics like the skinning part, there are many more things in that part that you will have to take care of on your own. But if you accept the deal, I will teach you more than just the basics of making weapons."
Amil pondered on what she said and didn't know what to do. The deal she was giving was good and Amil knew it. But giving the ores for less ached his heart. With a sigh, he went with the better choice.
"Sigh…Okay"
"hahaha…we've got a deal lad, hm….how about we add one mating with the deal, eh…what do you think."
"JUST TEACH ME, GOD DAMN IT!"
She broke into laughter once again seeing Amil's lack of emotional control.
A day passed without any worry, Amil didn't go home giving his all to learning the wonders of crafting.
CLANG!
CLANG!
CLANG!
One could see a sweaty kobold swinging a big hammer on a vertically long plate, the plate of metal was red in color due to heating too much. Amil kept on hitting it with the hammer trying to make it without any bumps and cracks. After about 10 minutes of rigorous beating, he picked it with a long heavy pincer and plunged it inside a big mud bucket filled with water.
Sounds of crackling resounded with the water splashing in small drops. The hissing of the blade-looking crisp weapon stopped. Amil took it out and saw it with satisfied eyes. The blades had no bulges, folds, or even cracks anywhere.
"Good, now go to the polisher and sharpen the one side of the blade while giving it finishing, make this bad boy shine."
Amil went to what he would assume to be a medieval wheel with two pedals on the ground. He sat down and started peddling it, the wheel moved fast. Amil started polishing the blade first removing the black crisp on it. After a while, the color of the blade changed from various places to shiny reddish-brown color. Amil became excited and polished the whole surface. The blade was now shining without any dents or bumps.
[Skill 'crafter beginner (level 1)' acquired]
Amil unconsciously inspected the blade to his surprise.

Amil became surprised by the description, his first crafted weapon was half successful.
The process continued, Amil made the blade sharp and with the help of Makeena, he made his first wooden hilt joining it to the sword's bottom making a good hilt.
[Copper Sword successfully crafted]
Amil inspected it again with a sigh of relief. Makeena looked at him and smiled for the first time, Amil was like a disciple for her now whom she even gave her personal tricks.

"How do you feel?" Makeena asked with expectations.
"The sword can't be used by me, but it feels really good making something with my own hand rather destroy," Amil said while looking at his weapon in a daze. Makeena gave a satisfied nod.
"With this, your training is over, I can only teach you this much. Your crafting path is ahead of you now. Seeing a barbarian kobold like you crafting made me have faith in the crafting line's survival in our species."
Amil looked at her with a soft smile, Makeena was not bad, just the words coming out of her mouth were usually not good. He bowed arcing his back full ninety degrees under her surprised gaze.
"Thank you for giving me such good teaching, I will always take you as my master in crafting, maybe one day, I will be at your level."
Makeena nodded not wanting to ruin the moment with her bad tongue.
Amil materialized 500 copper ores in front of her in the workshop's corner. Makeena became dumbfounded.
"Where the fuck did you get so much?!"
With a chuckle, Amil told her about his adventure.
She heard all of it in curiosity until her eyes became wide when Amil told her about the mining tribe.
"You bitch!"
She exclaimed under Amil's confused gaze.
"Didn't you check a cave or something there!?"
"….No"
"You dumb kobold! There should be a whole mine near there somewhere. It could even have 1000 or 2000 more ores!"
Amil looked at her with a pale face, he left all that ore behind bringing just a little over 1000 ore with him.
