Chapter 38 - The Alliance

"Good, the swords in the alliance are much better than our tribe's. But the thing is that you can't use the coins of the tribe here."

"Then how do I get the sword?" Amil frowned, He knew he doesn't use the sword a lot but he might need it sometimes.

"You will be there for a long time, these competitions last for many weeks. The currency used there is either a normal give and take of things or the contribution points. You can get contribution points by completing missions."

Amil understood the concept and felt like it was a good thing. He was confident about completing these so-called missions.

After some food, they went flying towards the alliance. Amil was not at all accustomed to flying, making him nauseous.

After about 2 hours of continuous fast flight, he started seeing a big building at the center of many other luxurious-looking buildings. Amil looked at them with bewilderment, the small buildings around looked nothing like his tribe's huts, with even glass windows! the material they were made from was foreign to Amil but it looked something like concrete.

The leader flapped his wings slowly, before landing, Amil jumped from his back about 15 feet up the ground. With a 'thump', he landed.

'Can't be seen having a piggyback, I have a reputation to hold.' He snorted looking at the massive metal door at the entry of the alliance. Looking everywhere, he found many types of species. Some were bird-type while some looked like insects. There were many goblins and orcs too but different from the one he killed.

These Goblins and Orcs had proper equipment on them which made them look some kind of professional. One of the orcs looked at Amil making eye contact. Amil looked at him with murder in his eyes, activating the iron nails skill automatically.

The orc frowned looking at him, after a while, he snorted and went away with his companions.

He became confused as to why an orc refused a fight.

SMACK!

Amil felt his world spinning, he looked behind seeing 2 leaders looking at him with a frown and a fist clasped upwardly.

"Are you an idiot!?, I just told you! No fighting without permission inside the alliance's territory!" The leader looked at Amil as if he was an idiot. If the fight would have actually occurred, the tribe would become no more than ash.

Amil kept caressing the back of his head, was it such a big deal to hit a weak level 6?

"Anyway, let me get you registered." The leader went inside the big door moving past many species indifferently. Amil went with him but not without giving everyone around the taste of his battle will towards them. Many frowned meeting his gaze, the kobold was just too creepy.

The inside of the alliance was a hundred times better than the tribe, The number of buildings inside it was just too large. Amil was sure that 5 of his tribes could fit inside the whole structure.

Each building had its own sign, the leader and Amil went past many of them until the leader entered a building with a note made on the sign.

There was a line of different races on various counters. The leader went and joined a line asking Amil to join him. Amil waited until he got bored and looked around under the leader's suspicious gaze.

He looked at a green-colored creature with vines coming out. Its eyes were very big with a torso made of only thick green vines. It looked more like a plant in Amil's eyes.

'level 11!?' The little battle lust that Amil had towards the vine creature vanished. It looked like a lost cause. The radiant Vine looked back toward Amil's gaze and looked at hm for a while.

"Brat, never seen a plant folk before?" It said looking at Amil. A normal change in the face which looked like a smile.

Amil on the other hand couldn't understand what the radiant Vine said and looked at the leader. The leader looked at Amil and gave a dry chuckle, the kid was just too much trouble. He looked back at the creature filled with vines.

"He doesn't understand the common tongue for now," The leader said coldly, Amil was now truly shocked, does everyone know that language aside from him?!

The Radiant Vine looked at Amil for a while and snorted. His 2 small nostrils expelled steam in the process.

'Fucking cold kobolds' It thought.

"Listen Amil, if you want to survive, then don't go looking at these higher levels like you own the place. If I would have not been with you, who knows what would happen."

Amil was very embarrassed now, making mistakes again and again. But he vowed in his heart to never embarrass his leader again.

Time went by, and it was finally Amil's turn. He saw the receptionist and couldn't help but be in a daze. She was a humanoid with 2 cat ears. Her face was just like that of a human beauty with 2 small mounds on her chest. Her curvy body made Amil really work hard not to lose his rationality. Her charm was too good. It had been a while since he saw a female woman.

The cat-girl kept looking at Amil and gave a dazzling smile, hitting hard on the heart.

The leader chuckled and took over for the talking.

"We are part of the outer alliance," he said and pointed at Amil who kept looking at the receptionist. "He is here to represent my tribe for this time of the tournament."

The receptionist looked at Amil and for a second, her eyes became sad.

'Sigh....another to his death'

Ami heard them talking for a while till the woman gave a token to the leader, He smiled and told Amil to leave with him. Amil looked at the cat-girl again and went running towards the exit.

"Now, take this." He gave a triangular brown-colored token to Amil and continued. "This is your identity inside the alliance....keep it safe. Now to the topic of the language..... follow me."
