Amil entered the hut yet again, this time, the leader was sitting on a chair near the window looking out at the crowd with unknown emotions.
"You're here" He got up and moved towards Amil and finally patted his shoulder.

He sat on his usual chair near the desk full of yellow papers.

Amil thought and took a second before nodding, the leader closed his eyes and started talking again.
"The world is not as small as we know as public knowledge. Due to being in this world for so long, some entities became very strong and are living for hundreds of years. Our village is very small and is known as a common kobold village, which is very low in this world."
Amil looked at him with weird eyes, all these were interesting news but did not relate to his situation. The leader opened his eyes and finally said the main thing.
"There is a big alliance between various races in this world where everyone lives together to fight off the outer enemies invading us."
"What?!"
Amil couldn't believe what he heard, live together? And with other races?! This was world-breaking news for him. He seemed to have skipped thinking about the outer enemies.
"But why are we not in it?"
"Because our tribe is weak, only by becoming strong can we join the alliance. And by strong, I mean the tribe as a whole and one or more to be level 20 in it."
Amil kept listening while keeping quiet, this was too much a piece of big news.

Amil could now connect the dots on his own. This was the reason why everyone have to inform the leader after every level-up.

Amil kept quiet for a long time trying to think of the pros and cons. But deep in his mind, he knew this was the thrill he was looking for all this time.
"Can I talk with my family about this?"

Amil nodded and bid farewell to the leader. He had a big talk with his family at dinner.
Soon he reached home, he found his father sitting there polishing his mace on a stone. Amil decided to tell them directly at dinner when everyone would be together. He had time till the morning.
"Oh…father, the sword broke" he materialized the chipped sword that his father gave to him.
"No worries, I chipped it more than 10 times. It can be repaired but don't stress and just buy a new one."
Amil now knew why his sword was so easy to break, it was just too worn out.
After a while, his mother came with his sister, and Zach too came back. The dinner was ready after a while and it was time to tell.
"I have to tell you all something….."
Drax looked at him with eyebrows up, same with Emil. But Kamil was the only one with a hidden glint in her eyes.
"You all know about the alliance….."
Previously, it was silent but now it was extra silent with everyone looking at him with huge eyes other than Zach who took time to understand through the mind link
Amil told them everything he got to know about the alliance. The only one surprised by the knowledge was Zach.
"Hahh…I knew he would choose you…..like he had a choice. Sigh…do you want to go?"
"I have thought about it...I've decided to go"

Emil spat the water with a spray on the ground and then looked at Amil with wide eyes.
"NO! You can't! It's very dangerous!"
"I know but I really want to go there sis, it's for our tribe's and my personal growth."
All this while, both Drax and Kamil were silently looking at each other until Kamil sighed and said.
"If you really want to go, then I guess you should go."
Emil couldn't understand what to do, her own mother was sending his brother to the death's door. She couldn't bear it and wanted to shout at her but was stopped by Drax's gaze.
"I want to go, and I promise to come back alive, Hehe~ just like before."
Kmail and Drax nodded with a smile, they knew their son very well. All this while Zach was silently translating the words with the mind link but couldn't resist more waiting.
"If you go…..then take me with yo-"
"No"
Zach's pupils trembled while looking at Amil.
"But why?"
"What do you think people from the human tribe or whatever think when they see a human just like them under a kobold?"
Zach wanted to say more but stopped repeating Amil's words in his mind.
"And Sis, don't worry, This time I will come and be at the same level as you," Amil said with a huge grin.
"The fight is after a week I think, the perfect time to make you learn something I devised long back but is common knowledge beyond our walls."
Amil's eyes shone again, his mother's teachings were always good.
Meanwhile, The leader was thinking about something while smiling.
'He didn't react on the evolution topic in our conversation…..interesting' he grinned widely thinking about the situation again.
