Two weeks later
Evie sat on top of the bed in the expensive hotel room where she had lodged, she was in her all-white nightgown and her hair was still in its messy bun.
Today was her wedding, and she was getting ready for it.
Her bachelorette party last night was a blast, she met different ladies in the same age grade with her, and also made lots of friends last night.
She momentarily forgot her problems as her friends kept her company, not excluding Juicy who got her drunk.
Evie smiled remembering last night, if anything she wished that she would continue to have that kind of party always but she knew it was impossible because she was getting married to Ezekiel.
Speaking of Ezekiel, he only showed up last Monday and had a conversation with her concerning the colour of the day, ever since then they had not discussed nor seen each other but Evie did not let that get to her.
Her door opened and it gave view to the person entering, it was no other than her makeup artist; Agnes with a different woman.
"Good morning bride," Agnes greeted as she engulfed Evie in a mini hug.
"So nice to see you again, Agnes," Evie said with a face full of a smile.
"You look pretty in this attire of yours, I just wonder what your groom would think about you today because I am going to make you the most beautiful bride on planet earth," Agnes told her as they looked at each other through the full-length mirror.
Evie only smiled and Agnes gestured to her to sit on the stool in front of the mirror.
Agnes got to work with her face, there was a large makeup kit placed on the table stand beside them.
The other lady who seemed to be Agnes' apprentice did her manicure and pedicure.
"A mild makeup please," Evie said.
"Your wish is my command bride," Agnes responded with a courtesy which got both of them chuckling.
Agnes, as instructed, did a mild makeup on Evie's face, though it was mild yet it was stunning.
Agnes knew that Evie had good features so all she did was highlight them more with makeup.
"What colour of lipstick should I apply on your pinkish lips of yours," Agnes asked making Evie smile,
"Hmmm, I would go with the baby pink lipstick, I don't want something too bright, I just want to look natural," Evie replied and Agnes applied the baby pink lipstick on her lips.
"You are a true definition of perfection," Agnes complimented.
"Stop your flattering comments please," Evie pleaded and the duo laughed.
Agnes did a good job keeping Evie's company while doing her makeup and making her hair.
"Wow!" Evie exclaimed as she took a good look at herself in the mirror, her makeup was mild yet perfect, her nails were painted red and her long red hair was curled.
"Thank you so much, Agnes, I look extraordinary!" Evie joked as she hugged Agnes
"You are welcome Evie, besides I am paid for this, I have to give you the best, bride," Agnes replied causing Evie to hug her tighter.
"It is time for the bride to put on her wedding gown!" Agnes exclaimed as she went to the closet to get Evie's gown.
Evie's happiness disappeared when she remembered that she was getting married to that son of a devil.
She suddenly became scared and afraid of today's wedding.
"Evie," Agnes noticed she was out for some time, Evie whipped her head around and faked a smile.
"I was just thinking about the wedding," Evie replied while Agnes brought out the wedding gown from its bag.
After Agnes had helped Evie to put on her wedding gown, Evie stared at herself in the mirror.
The gown was a ball gown, it was a beaded lace white dress. The upper body was cosseted with an illusion neckline, it had an off-shoulder which revealed Evie's shoulders. Her cleavages were not revealed that much as the gown flowed very much on the ground. Her red hair which cascaded down her back helped to cover up her open back. This was the gown Alice had gotten for her.
"Here is your tiara," Agnes uttered as she placed it on Evie's head.
The tiara was gotten by her mom, according to Sonia, it was made from real diamond, and it was passed down from generation to generation.
Every female bride in their lineage used this tiara for their wedding and Evie was not going to be an exception.
The other lady helped her by putting on her silver shoes. Evie was beautiful and she knew it. She smiled as she took a selfie with Agnes and her apprentice.
Just as the ladies were taking their selfies, Juicy and a few other ladies who were on her bridal train walked in without knocking.
"Excuse me? This bride's room, you can't walk in as that," Evie said jokingly, she had made up her mind, she was going to be happy today because wedding was a once-in-a-lifetime thing, she would not let anyone ruin her mood not even Ezekiel.
"OMG! you look hot and sexy, I bet Ezekiel would not be able to resist you," Lily, one of her newfound friends said.
"Thanks for the compliment," Evie replied with a smile as she engulfed everyone in a brief hug.
"It is time to get going, we don't want to keep the groom and everyone waiting at the church!" Juicy announced.
"Wait, aren't we going to take a picture?" Sandra asked and the others chorused 'yes'. Juicy only shook her head and then went to bring her iPhone to take a picture.
Immediately they stepped out of the hotel, everyone's eyes were on them, well they looked stunning! What do you expect?.
Evie's bridesmaids were all on a bottle green attire, sewn in different styles. Some passersby started filming them as they walked into various cars waiting for them.
Evie walked into the golden limousine alongside her chief bridesmaid; Juicy.
They settled in it before Juicy grabbed Evie's hands,
"I know today is going to be difficult for you but all I want you to know is that I would be always there for you, I am happy that you are happy, please don't let anyone ruin your mood, not Ezekiel or your parents, just make the best of today," Juicy stated.
