Chapter 34 - The Royal Academy 2

We would be there in four hours time Masters. Alfred spoke in a warm tone.

"Mhmm". we both grunted simultaneously.

"Teleportation route right " Hunter asked.

"Yes master Hunter" He replied calmly.

With an acknowledgement nod, Hunter and Hayden settled down doing their own things. While Hayden was listening to some music from his pydrioid cause he preferred it to his liephone.

Hunter was stucked in a turmoil in his own thoughts. What was he thinking ?

How he was going to get his system up because he had roughly a month if not less or else, death awaited him.

About four hours and some minutes later, they got unto the road leading to the The King's Royal academy. There were five Royal academies in the Ruby nation. One in the North, South, East, west and the center of the kingdom, which was the capital city of the kingdom.

They were attending the ones in the center.

Some folks called it 'The five Royal academies'. The North Royal academy, the South Royal academy, the East Royal academy and the West Royal academy. But it was a lame naming system. In order for the students to feel some pride when going for international magic competitions, the names had to be changed.

[The North Royal academy was renamed 'The Latronia Royal academy.

The South Royal academy was renamed 'The Hitnerry Royal academy.

The East Royal academy was renamed 'The

Kadora Royal academy.

The West Royal academy was renamed 'The

Klifany Royal academy.

The King's Royal academy.]

Upon reaching the entrance of the gate which was manned by four security officers, both for the inspection of the vehicles coming in and their owners identification. There were ten gates in total with two slots for incoming cars entrance at each of them. The building of the school was still yet not in sight, but upon closer look, a small building seemingly a one story building wasn't far from the checkpoint.

While they waited for their turn, the numbers of cars kept on increasing.

"It seems no one wants to stay at home again ?" Hunter spoke out loud.

"Doubt it, I think its one of the rules been put in place"

Hayden replied with a cheerful expression. He seemed to be happy about the fact that he was going to school. Meanwhile, Hunter was the polar opposite. He had a lot in his mind, with one been the fore most; how not to end up dead.

"Rule ?"

He seemed interested in what Hayden was talking about.

"Yeah rules. But for this case, it main function was all new students were to resume immediately. No one comes before or after."

"And that means everyone takes the tests together ?" Hunter asked thoughtful. Though it was poised as a question, it sounded more rhetorically. Unsure on whether to answer or nor, Hayden simply nodded as it reached their turn for their check in.

The driver glass was lowered quickly as Alfred politely greeted the guard. He was stunned for a second, before replying with a polite smile.

"Good afternoon sir."

"Please, means of Identification and the recommendation papers sir'.

"Sure "

Alfred said quickly as he brought out a single golden card and two animal skins scrolls.

"A noble... a noble that greets ?".The guardian muttered under his breathe as his eyes grew wide with respect filling it. Quickly he saluted with his right arm across his chest. For some seconds he remained like that before going at ease after receiving a nod from Alfred. Quickly, he returned the golden card that had the name and emblem of the Marcus family engraved on it. Holding unto the two animal skins scrolls, he threw it up into the air as it immediately engulfed in blue flames and quickly burned away before moving on to the next vehicle.

Quickly they looked for a spot to park as they both alighted from the vehicle, Hayden with his legs and Hunter with his wheels. They moved on towards the one storey building in sight. Though it seemed closer than usual, it was quite far. While on their way there, there were some students who had luggage with them and others who had nothing, apart from their outfit and a black wrist watch around their wrist, either left or right. The latter outnumbered the former by a large number.

The wrist holders, were the rich ones, who's parents could afford a dimensional storage for them. For those who couldn't, they could only carry their things down to the academy using the old style of donkey and the cart.

Upon concluding their affairs with Alfred, they bade him goodbye. The instant he entered the vehicle, an autonomous voice spoke out to him, requesting if he was interested in leaving the premises. With a vocal approval from Alfred, a portal was created right in front of his vehicle. It was slightly reflective, it had the physical look of a wavy glass. Hunter first time of seeing it, and was impressed as Alfred drove through it, vanishing from their sight. If it was in his previous word, the next thing he would have said was 'what in the fuckery voodoo shit was that' , but in this world , it seems so many things are possible. Things that defy the human earth comprehension.

This method of departure continued within the parking lot as more cars spilled in. Some luxurious, others average. The soon to become students, those that were ready all moved on towards the one storey building quite a distance away from the parking lot.
