I am really thankful for the kindness Franklin and Roselle are showing me. It is only the first time we had met and they are already like this to me. Now I understand why Carter was raised that way. His parents treasure humanity so much that is why they are helping me genuinely.
"No need. I would let her stay in my room instead," Carter said that I'm sure everyone heard. When I saw Ross smirked, my cheeks heated.
"Well, if that is fine to both of you, then you may do as you please." Roselle smiled.
Carter then led me upstairs. Actually, I feel shy thinking that on my first visit to their house, I would be staying with them in a few days. It is kind of embarrassing since I am still a bit intimidated around his family.
"Here is my room," Carter opened the door.
