BOOM!
BOOM! BOOM!
The tree of dimensional heaven shook as Kronos, the god of time, and his son Zeus, the thunder god, fought a ferocious battle for the throne of Olympus! At least, that's what the rest of the gods of Olympus declared as they cheered for their leader on the stands of the Immortal Collesuem.
"Go, Zeus! Show that old bastard that you are the almighty ruler of Olympus!" Hades yelled from the stands.
"Give that newbie a taste of the real world, Kronos!" Yelled Atlas, rebutting against Hades.
However, in reality, this was just a friendly spar between father and son, to see who was more powerful in the end.
"Do you think they actually believe that we are fighting a serious battle?" Zeus said as he created a bolt of blue lightning in his hand and lunged it toward Kronos.
BOOM!!
"No, they are only making this a commotion to advertise the fights in the Immortal Collesuem. Bunch of capitalist bastards. We shouldn't have picked this place to fight in the first place. Once Plutus heard about our duel, she didn't waste a second monetizing the shit out of it." Kronos said as he dodged the lightning bolt and lifted a small golden pocket watch into the air. "Let's end this." He said.
Instantly, every single god peeled their eyes to see the brilliant performance that was going to happen before them.
"Infinite Time!" Kronos yelled as millions of rays of golden light suddenly burst out of the watch that was now floating over 20 feet in the air.
"Hah! Nice try, but there's no way I'm going to let that happen!" Zeus yelled, forming a giant lightning bolt in his hand and hurling it towards the clock in the air. "Imperial Lightning!"
The lightning bolt struck the watch, stopping Kronos' spell as the watch was propelled millions of miles away in an instant from the force of the lightning bolt.
BOOM!
Every god in the crowd cheered as Zeus looked to be the clear winner of the battle.
"You moron! What have you done!?" Kronos suddenly yelled as he flew up into the air and looked towards the direction of where the watch went flying.
"What? Did I break your weapon?" Zeus said jokingly.
"No, you moron! That's the problem, that watch is not a weapon like yours or the other gods, it is a primordial item! Once lost, it will not come back to its owner! I haven't lost that watch in over 400 billion years, you better not be the reason why I would lose it!" Kronos yelled as he flew at light speeds in the direction of the watch.
"Oh shit." Zeus realized the significance of his actions. There were only 4 primordial items in existence. Each one had near infinite powers that controlled the entire universe. If even one were to fall into the wrong hands, it could tilt the balance of the cosmos.
Another god suddenly appeared in the air above the Immortal Colleseum.
"Imperial army! Do whatever it takes to find that watch and return it back to the tree! Scower every nook and cranny of the universe and do not dare return before it is obtained!" Shiva, the god of destruction said as millions of soldiers appeared in front of him and bowed before suddenly dispersing into thin air.
...
Meanwhile, the Watch of Time and Destiny had already made its way out of the tree of dimensional heaven, the land of gods, and had entered the mortal realm.
It flew at immeasurable speeds, finally landing far away on a small dirt planet with no magic called earth.
Shing!
The watch which had no weight landed calmly in the middle of a random street, making no impact on the ground.
Somewhere near the landing of the Watch of Time and Destiny...
Sun Miles was an orphan who had spent most of his life on the streets. He didn't even know his parents, nor did he want to. Nowadays, he had tried to get his life together. From stealing and committing small crimes, he decided to transition to being an average guy with a part-time job. He had also just recently moved out from the streets to rent a single room in a thoughtful landlord's house.
As he was walking to school that day, he randomly saw a large flare of light right in front of him that happened to be on his way, so, he decided to check out what it was.
After walking up to where he saw the light, he saw a watch on the ground and picked it up. 'Wow. This pocket watch looks like pure gold. It might sell for a pretty penny down the pawn shop. Wonder what it's doing on this random street?' He thought to himself as he inspected the watch closely. (Authors note: Know that the ' symbol means that someone is thinking to themselves.)
[You have touched the Watch of Time and Destiny.]
[Where do you wish to go?]
"What the hell!?" Sun said, shocked by what he had just heard. "Did this watch just talk!?" Sun inspected the watch heavily, looking all around it. He eventually tried to make the watch talk again and repeated the same thing that he had thought to himself before in the head.
Nothing happened.
After not being able to do anything with the watch, he decided to put it in his backpack and go to school. It could prove to be worth something later on, and it was also just quite interesting.
...
In school, all he could think about was the watch. He fiddled with it in his hand during all hours of school, not paying attention to any of the classes, which got him into a little bit of trouble with some of his teachers. Thankfully, he was known as a very weak-minded person without a big presence, so teachers forgave him easily as they knew he wouldn't dare go against them again. Although he wasn't originally like this, he had promised himself to never go back to his old ways of crime and extroversion.
After a long day of school, he finally returned back to his one-room rental. He went up to his room before taking off his school uniform and washing up in the shower.
As he was taking a shower in the bathroom that was attached to his room, he noticed a weird golden glow coming from his room. It was similar to the flare that he had seen that morning. Along with the glow came an almost ear-piercing sound.
SHING!
The deafening sound of the watch's glow echoed throughout the house. Thankfully, the 60-year-old landlord of the house had left for a couple of days because of personal issues, and no one else could experience this craziness but Sun himself.
SHING!
The booming glow sounded again, almost shaking the entire house as it look like a disco ball from the outside.
"Holy shit! What is going on!?" Sun yelled, barely holding his balance as it felt like a small earthquake was happening.
Sun urgently left the shower, still soapy and naked, and stumbled his way to his room without trying to slip and fall.
As Sun entered his room, it felt like a solar eclipse was happening. The light completely blinded him, causing him to cover his eyes with one of his hands. With the memory of where he had left his bookbag, Sun quickly made his way over to the bag, and took the watch out, scrunching his naked body to cover it completely so that light could not escape from it any longer.
He was panting heavily and almost crying. 'What the fuck is going on...'
