Sun was shocked and out of breath, however, his stupor wasn't finished there.
Out of nowhere, his surroundings all started to move faster and faster as though time itself was speeding up. Eventually, all he could see was a blur of multiple colors traveling past him at warp speeds and before he could even react, he was in a wormhole of time.
Sun could not believe what was going on at all. He tried his best to make sense of it all, but it was completely impossible. There's no way any of what had happened to him in the past day could happen... so how was it happening?
A thought popped up in his head.
'Fantasy?' Did it exist?
Sun enjoyed many forms of fantasy during his life. Through novels and anime, he had grown to know the genre quite well. However, fantasy was named what it was simply because it was exactly that. Fantasy. A construct, something that was fake.
However, something supernatural was clearly happening to Sun right now, there was no way he could deny that what was happening to him was most definitely fantastical.
Out of nowhere, random images started covering the blurry colors that were moving all inside of the wormhole, and depictions of dinosaurs and other ancient creatures could be seen clearly in the images.
Sun was in slight awe, seeing the prehistoric dinosaurs as they galloped through the vast plains, hunted in the thick, vegetation-filled, forests and jungles, and swam through the ever-blue ocean.
It was a beautiful sight.
The images, now which were surrounding Sun on all sides, continued to show these wonderful images for a few minutes before changing into something different.
Zip!
Now, the images depicted modern human society. Large cities like New York times square, Tokyo Japan, and many other places were being portrayed. Thousands of people walked amongst themselves, the images were filled with color and looked absolutely dazzling consumed by the night sky.
Zip!
The images changed again, this time, they showed something far less bright and happy.
'What in the world?' Sun thought to himself, curiously looking on in amazement and confusion.
Ruins of modern civilizations, enveloped in lava and hot earth. Volcanos lined the cracked surface of the earth's crust as hot magma flowed from their tips, spewing thick clouds of brown smoke that had turned the sky red. It was a terrible and scary sight.
'It's almost as if... these images are showing me the timeline of Earth.'
Zip!
The images changed again after a few minutes.
This time, it showed a happy family having dinner in their dining room. At first glance, it looked quite normal in contrast to the previous images, however, with closer inspection, Sun noticed that this family was not normal in the slightest.
As Sun looked at the images more and more, a bizarre, disturbed look started to form on his face.
The people in the images had pink skin, large pitch-black eyes, only three slender fingers on each hand, and long antennae poking out of their large shiny bald domes.
'Aliens!?' Sun shrieked at the sight.

Eventually, the evolution and demise of that planet was also shown, along with several other planets. They were a series of sad sights, but Sun didn't feel any real connection to them. After all, he only saw small snippets of the entire history of the planets.
By now, however, his curiosity had turned into fear. First of all, he had already deduced that he was traveling through time, or at least inside of a wormhole-like thing in between dimensions. Many aspects were dead giveaways. The watch, the ever-moving timelines of the planets, and such.
Because of this, he was fearing that what he saw of the earth, which appeared in the first-ever images, was the true reality. What if, his home had already been destroyed, left to become a planet of hot magma. It was truly a bone-chilling thought that sent shivers down his spine.
If that were to be true, what was in store for him? And... what the hell was going on? He still needed an answer to this question. There was no explanation for any of it.
...
Finally, after hours of seeing the beginning and end of hundreds of planets, a message appeared from the watch.

'Huh!?'
With this, the images Sun was seeing sped up exponentially, as each image only showed for around ten seconds before moving on to the next one. It also felt as though his surroundings were moving faster as well.
In mere hours, thousands of planets had been shown to Sun, and with nothing else to do, he had no choice but to simply sit there and watch the images.
This continued on for multiple days, which soon turned into weeks, and before Sun knew it, had turned into months.

Sun felt extremely malnourished and tired, however, he had not died yet. It was quite surprising, but not enough to make Sun truly care.
By this point, he somehow knew that he had gone past the point of no return. There was no longer a planet that he could call home, he knew it was already finished. However, he had no idea what was in store for him in the future either.
Was this going to be his entire existence from now on? Trapped in a warping dimension between worlds for the entirety of the time of the universe? It was an overwhelming thought, Sun didn't want to spend too much time thinking about it.
Also during this time, he realized how much he actually missed Earth. Or rather, the fun he had there. Not when he forced himself to do things he didn't want and become an average idiot who got picked on in school by both students AND teachers, but when he lived his life doing whatever he pleased, not caring for anyone else but himself.
Man, those were the days. Although they sucked, they were also his most fond memories. Oh, how he wished he could relive those memories. Where he could do whatever he wanted once again without a care in the world for anyone or anything else. If he could go back right now, to hell with being normal and living a normal life, there was no time for that!
He would live all his life doing stuff he wanted, for only himself! To fulfill his desires and become free from the shackles of expectations and society. However, his excited thoughts soon dissipated as he realized where he currently lay.
He breathed a deep sigh, as his eyes slightly glistened with moisture.
Just then, a familiar sound caused Sun to arise from his stupor almost immediately.
