Chapter 18 - ch:18 Our Little Secret

The officer started writing down everything on a piece of paper. "Ok, yeah I get it," he says with the pen cap in his mouth, "but we need evidence for a case." "I can show you where his body is, a-and the knife." Eddie rubs your shoulder. "Alright," the officer writes down a time and slides it to you, "Thursday, meet me here at noon. We will travel to Texas and figure all this out." Eddie walks out with you and you sigh loudly. "You okay?" he massages your shoulders. "I don't want this to go south." "It'll be okay." He opens your car door and helps you in. "Eddie?" you look out your window. "Yes sweetheart?" he starts the van. "Why does everyone say you are different now?" He turns to look at you. "I am a freak. Born and raised.

I will never be anything different. But you, you make me...human, I guess. You make me feel so loved. You make me feel a way I can't describe in words. I love the way you make me feel." He grabs your hand and kisses it. The rest of the car ride was silent. Not for any particular reason, it just was. Eddie is no doubt the best thing that has ever happened to you.

When you got home, you went to your room and, of course, Eddie followed you. "You know Eddie." you say, he looks up at you. "Never mind it's stupid." Eddie grabs your chin and pulls it up, pushing his body against yours. "Go on," he says in a deep voice. "Are you in a band?" "'Am I in a band?' of course I'm in a band!" he mimicked you. "We met in middle school." "I don't re-" you look down. "You don't remember me?" he crosses his arms. "No?" "It was a talent show, what were you doing? Oh yeah! You were doing this song, you were singing it. You were really good. I was with my band... Coro-" "Corroded Coffin!" "Yes! You do remember." "Shoot, with a name like that how could I forget?" "I don't know you're a freak." "You're one to talk." "Hey!" "You just looked so..." "Different? Ya, well, my hair was buzzed, and I didn't have these sweet old tatties, yet." He took off his shirt to show off his tattoos. You touched his skin. You started looking down. "Hey man," he snaps, "my eyes are actually up here." "Well, I always look at your eyes. What if I want change?" "Hmm, but are you ready for change." You hear shuffling at the door. "Shit, there are kids in the house." You whisper to Eddie. Eddie creeped over to the door. "You know, I wonder if we had a blanket." You say, making sure to distract them. "RAGHHSHFROSKSD," Eddie yelled, scaring the shit out of the kids. "Holy fuck!" Dustin screamed. Mike and Will screamed like little girls. Max was just laughing her head off with El. "Why are you shirtless?" Lucas raised his eyebrows. "A man can do what he pleases," Eddie says in his Dnd voice. "And a woman can control the man," you say shutting, and locking the door. Eleven unlocked and opened the door, but you two already escaped through your window for Eddie's trailer. You and Eddie laughed as you spread your limbs on the bed. "Ellie," he says smiling. "I need to take you on a real date." "It's fine, Eddie." "No, I do! How about Wednesday?" "Sure," you smile as he crawls on top of you. He aggressively starts making out with you. It would've gone farther if you didn't hear a knock at the window.

"What do you fuckers want from me?" Eddie shouts opening the window. "I don't know," Max smiles, "I just like interrupting you guys." "Fuck you!" you flip her off and Eddie closes the window and curtains. Eddie turns up his music as loud as it goes and pushed you down on the bed. "I think I'll wait to have children." you smile. "Good idea," he kisses you.

The door opened again. "Go away!" you shout, as Eddie leaves hickeys on your neck. "You always hang out with Eddie." Dustin groans. "Fine!" you push Eddie off of you, "you win!" Will pulls you back to your house and sits you on the floor of Max's room. "We are playing spin the bottle." Mike says. "Wanna play?" Eleven asks. "Doesn't look like I have a choice." You looked around at everyone making a circle. Eddie is sitting across from you, next to Mike. "Everyone know how to play?" you ask. Everyone nods and you get to the rules. "Rules," you say eyeing Eddie, "no tickling." You point to Eddie. "Hey!" he laughs. "No being a bitch, this doesn't affect relationships." Everyone nods. "Pants must be worn the entire duration of the game." You look at Eddie, who is grinning. "That's bullshit!" Mike and Dustin just looked at each other and laughed. Max nearly peed her pants laughing. "Guess I have to quit." He crosses his arms. "EDDIE!" Max shouted. "I'm joking," he puts his arms down, "be safe kids. Use protection." "Shut the fuck up Eddie!" you push him. "I'm serious!" "I don't care if your serious, you're talking to 16 year olds." "And?" You roll your eyes. "You act like we haven't done it." Lucas spats. "LUCAS!" Max shouts. "What a twist!" Eddie laughs. "MAX?" you yell. "It was only once! And you can't even count it because-" "Ew, I don't even want to know!" Dustin plugs his ears. "So I'm assuming you found out what was under his bed?" Eddie smirked. "I found out more than that." Max eyed Lucas, who was on the floor laughing. "Can we just play already?" Will shouts.

Will spins the bottle. It spins until it lands on Mike. "That doesn't count!" "Why not?" Max smiles. "Cause that's gay! I'm not gay!" Mike protests. "How would you know?" Dustin asks. "That doesn't matter." "It landed on you, Mike, he's got to kiss you." Will grabs his cheek and kisses him. "Sorry, El," he mumbles. Eddie is giggling under his breath. Lucas spins the bottle, and it lands on Max. "What a shock." Eleven rolls her eyes. Max and Lucas kiss and Max spins the bottle. It lands on Eleven. "Hell no," Lucas shouts. "Wouldn't be the first time." Eleven smirks. "WHAT?" Mike shouts. "What do you think we do at sleepovers?" Max smiles. Max grabs Eleven and kisses her. "I hate all of you." you laugh spinning the bottle. It lands on Mike. Eddie pushes it. "Whoops," he smiles, "you're all mine..." He leans in to kiss you. "Ellie," Max says, and you pull away, "Jeez." She pulls your hair back. The hickeys on your neck show. You flip her off and pull Eddie closer. Max pulls Lucas, and Mike pulls Eleven in. "Wanna go play Dnd?" Will asks. "Yeah," Dustin leaves the room. Eddie pulls away. "I'm running out of pick up lines." Everyone else stops. "So instead of picking you up, I'll pin you down." "Damn," Mike whispered to himself. "I think I want to date Eddie instead." Max giggled. "He's mine," you wrap your arms around his neck. The doorbell rings. "Shit!" you run into your room and get yourself fancied up. Eddie opens the door for you. "Hey, Eddie," Robin says walking in with Eddie. "Where's Ellie?" Nancy said, as Eddie gestured to your room. "Sorry," you yell from your room. All of the kids are huddled up in the living room. "You know what to do tomorrow," Mike winks.

Nancy and Robin hop into the car and you slide into the backseat. "Where exactly do you want to go?" "Uhh," you say. "We didn't plan that far." "Hmm, well I kind of want to know where to go." "Do y'all want to do something illegal?" you ask looking at your fingers. "What the hell has gotten into you?" Nancy turned around smiling. "Is that a no?" You don't look "I mean no it's just-" Robin started saying. "It's just different of you." Nancy interrupted. "I've got an idea."

You all went to the store to pick up some paint and drive to a less occupied road. It was already really dark outside, which made it even easier. "Are you ready?" Nancy said watching the road. "Yep," You and Robin run up to the street sign. "Lift me up," you whispered. You got on her shoulders and began to unscrew the bolts. "How are we Nancy?" Robin shouts. "Clear!" You finish one bolt. "Halfway there!" you shout. "Car in t-minus 45 seconds!" Nancy shouts. "Hurry up, Ellie!" "I'm almost there!" "T-minus 30." "Ellie!" "I'm almost there!" "20..." "They're going to see us!" Robin shouted. "Done!" you took the sign off of the post. Robin shoves it in the trunk and you slide into the back seat. "10!" Robin and Nancy slide into the front seat. "Zero," Nancy says 'epically'. But the car pulled up behind you. "Shit." Robin shouted. "DRIVE!" you say. Nancy floors it, scaring both you and Robin. You looked behind you, in the window. "They're trailing us." "Maybe we wouldn't look suspicious if we weren't doing 60 in the 35, Nancy!" Robin yelled. "Shit, sorry." You couldn't tell what type of car it was, because the bright lights and dark skies. "We got to lose them," Robin says. Nancy pulls into a separate alley. "They're gone," you sigh. "Let's not do that again," Nancy sighed. "Or at least for a long time." Robin chuckles. "I agree." "So, what exactly are we doing with the sign?" Nancy pulls out of the alley. "I'm hanging it in my room." you smile. "That's brave." Robin smiles. "At least it will go to good use, and this won't all be for nothing." Nancy laughs.

When you get back to Max's trailer, Eddie was sitting outside with a cigarette. "Good Evening ladies," he had a peculiar smirk ok his face. "What did you do?" you ask him, as the girls carried the sign, covered in a blanket, to your room. "Nothing, nothing!" Eddie puts his hands up, standing up. "I know that smirk." you raise your eyebrows. He grabs your waist, pulling you to his, "what did you do?" He gave you butterflies, "nothing." You weren't giving in. You push him off of you, and walk to your room.

Robin laid the sign down in the middle of your room. "I'm going to clean it first," you walk into the bathroom to get a rag. You wipe away the dirt and grime until it was clean enough to paint. "What design do you want?" "I was thinking above stop we could paint 'Don't' and then under 'Believing'." "That would be cool!" Robin cheers. "I could do some other cool designs around it." Nancy pours paint into an old lid, and you all begin painting it. You have a great time all night.

You hear a knock on the window, but before you could open it, Eddie was already crawling inside. "Jeez, Eddie!" you shouted. "At least he knocked," Nancy says unfazed. "Can I talk to you?" he asks. "Why not!" you shout throwing up your hands, "you're already in my house!" You and Eddie walk into the spare room. "What do you want, man," you sit on the extra bed. "Don't 'man' me," Eddie mimics you. "Whatever," Eddie hovers over you. "So," he looks down, "what did you do?" He smirks. "Nothing!" you said, "I already told you." He grabs your chin, "if it was nothing then why is there a street sign in your room?" Everything clicked. "Were you that car that was following us?" You shout. Eddie just smiles. "I just wanted you to admit what you did." "And if I don't?" "There could be consequences." "What are you a cop?" "No, I'm your boyfriend. I value your safety." He leans forward, crawling on top of you, causing you to shift back, "but if I have to be, I will." "What sort of consequences are we talking?" you smirk. "I haven't decided yet." he kisses you. You kiss back. Eddie Munson. What a boy he is.

Eddie begins taking off your shirt. You lift your arms to help him. "God," he pulls away to breathe, he pulls off his shirt, "you're so perfect." He grabs your face and pulls it to his. Eddie smells heavily of smoke, and tastes like it too. You reach into his hair. Eddie plays around with the waistband of your jeans, but doesn't take them off. He moves his hands, along with his icy cold rings, up to your bra. He slips his hands under the sides of your bra. "Fuck," you mumble in between the kiss. He looked to you for permission. You nodded. "Ellie?" you heard Robin shout. "Shit!" you sit up. "One second!" you shout. Eddie pulls on his shirt and helps you with yours. Robin opens the door, "what are you two lovebirds doing in here?" Robin smiles. "Nothing," you look at Eddie. "Well, we finished the words!" she leads you to your room. "Wow!" you cheer, "they're perfect." You draw some cute designs around it, and paint them. Eddie helped you hang it on the wall.

"We best get going," Nancy said hugging you. Robin joins. "Our little secret?" you wink. "Pinky swear." Robin and Nancy hold out their pinkies. You waved them goodbye and look to Eddie, who is leaning on the counter. "I would've never guessed you would steal a stop sign." he chuckled under his breath. "I just might surprise you." you smiled and headed to your room. "Do you mind if I sleep here tonight?" Eddie asks slowly following you. "Sure," you grab his hand. Eddie sleeps in his boxers and a t-shirt, because his jeans were dirty. He knew they were itchy against your skin and didn't want to make you uncomfortable. You grabbed a pair of comfy clothes and jumped in bed with Eddie
