Lady Carol was on the ground, collapsed in the corner, by my kick.
("I hope I haven't kicked her very hard…")
I was worried about her but she got up trembling on her legs.She screamed at me,
"YOU….. I WILL KILL YOU!!!"
She rapidly gathered her energy between her hands and threw a energy ball towards me. I was thrown back on the wall and then on the ground. She swing her hand forward and along came some climbers, which broke inside from windows, clutching my hands and legs and even my neck.
"YOU ARE A FOOL TO COME BACK!…. NOW MY KING WILL ONLY LOOK AT ME!.... THERE IS NO NEED FOR YOU HERE!!"
("This psycho!... does she even know what is she doing?... she got together her energy…. let me try this..")
I concentrated on my energy. I got a grasp of White energy fluid flowing through my veins. The energy inside was increasing roughly, as if I am consuming some energy inside me.
("The green energy flow….it must be her energy…")
As I consumed energy from Carol, my body glowed up powering the energy flow out and dissolving the climbers into thin air. I broke through it with a loud noise. My body was on fire and my head was paining immensely once again. Lady Carol was on the ground, petrified, as if she saw some ghost. Everyone gathered up from the loud noise. Roger rushed in towards me.
"Are you alright?"
I suddenly felt loss of energy in my body and I collapsed again.
I was in a deep sleep, but I could sense some energy strongly flowing throughout my body.
"Ariya!"
I could hear someone calling my name, but I was still tired to open my eyes.
[Open Eyes]
I opened my eyes to find myself in the bed. Roger, Fiona and Lupa were sitting beside me. I sat up straight leaning backwards. Before they could bombard me with pile of questions, I spoke,
"I am absolutely fine. So relax! By the way, where is Miss psycho, I mean lady Carol?"
Their faces turned black as I mentioned her name. Roger was Furious.
"She is confined in her room for now." answered Lupa with guilty conscience.
"But what exactly happened? why did you collapsed? Even that… lady collapsed…"Roger furiously asked.
"Lady Carol was following me in the passage, so I lured her into a nearby room. She suddenly took the sword and attacked me. When I kicked her, in myself defence, she became angry and attacked me with magic. And…. I think…. I too used some magic…. I guess"
"I should have told you both about it yesterday." sighed Fiona.
"What happened yesterday?" asked Roger.
"She was frightened or shocked to see me alive. She just came out of the room like a crazy person saying I should have been dead. Even today, it was the same speech."
"I never thought that she would go this far with her actions." Replied Lupa.
"Wait, so you knew about this?" I asked.
"Lady Carol is Marquis Willington's daughter. He had a daughter almost after 15 years of his marriage. He pampered her like crazy and this is the outcome. I knew she liked me. But it became annoying day After day. I ignored it as she never went to this extant. She only used to throw tantrums, but….." Lupa sighed out.
"But Lupa I suspect her to know something about Queen's death…" Fiona stated.
"The way she behaved was horrifying; she wanted to kill me and referred to me as queen. Has she behave like this before in front of her?" I asked
"She was always afraid of Queen Ariya and she never approached her before, except for…." Lupa lost in his thoughts.
"Except for…?" Fiona asked
"Accept for that year, when the war took place.
"What exactly did she do?"
"She tried to create a big drama on the Queen's birthday banquet. I thought she just wanted to Grab my attention. But…."
"I am….. I am going to… KILL HER!" Roger screamed out loud.
"Roger calm down….. easy…. why are you so furious?" I tried to calm him down.
"I am very angry right now. How can that crazy bi…. Kid try to hurt my….." he stopped in the middle and cleared his throat.
"My what?" I asked curiously.
("How can that crazy mad witch try to hurt my little kid? Let me see how can she survive…")
(" oh my my! Roger is behaving as my fatherly figure. What a weird fellow! But still… it made me happy…")
"Okay now calm down…"
Suddenly I got a shiver down my spine. There was a feeling of uneasiness. A black smoke was gathering in the room.
"This smoke, where is it generating from?" Lupa asked immediately.
"The balcony…. and the drawer…?" Fiona replied.
"THE BALCONY?"
That's when it click me, it was the plant from yesterday night and the pendent…..
Fiona rushed to the balcony and saw the black smoke emitting from the plant, decomposing it with a foul smell. I rushed to the drawer and took out the pendant with the black stone.
"How can I stop it?" I asked immediately to Rodger and Lupa. They both had a confused expression as they were unable to answer my question. Fiona also had a blank face.
No one knew what to do…. I mean seriously?!
It fell like we are some bunch of idiots…..
I was lost in my thoughts when suddenly white magic sparkles popped out of my palms.
A familiar your voice happened to speak in my head,
"Ariya, you know what to do next. You are the master of spirits realm…. Master of life and death… You can easily destroy this…!"
I focused my energy in my palms and The White sparkles started popping out in a large amount, like a ray. I diverted its direction towards the pendant and the plant with my full energy. The room was brightened immensely and the black smoke got mixed in it and eventually disappeared. The plant which was decomposed was back to its liveliness and the pendant had a glossy coating over it with a crack inside.
("Wow! This is great!")
My head was a bit heavier so I sat down. Everyone looked at me with concern, but I was craving for only one thing,
GRUMBLEEEEE!
