"BLOOD?"
Fiona approached me with a handkerchief to wipe the blood. They all were concerned due to my nosebleed.
"What is this happening?" I asked
"Don't talk much. Let the doctor examine you first." Roger said.
The blood was dripping nonstop. Lupa entered the room with doctor. He look somewhat weird or odd one. He took my hand and checked my pulse. Then he examined the blood from handkerchief.
"Please bring a plate here." He requested.
A servant brought in a plate. He took out some bottles with liquid in it. He kept the handkerchief in that plate and poured the fluids onto that handkerchief one by one. It changed its bloody red colour into dark violet. He frowned to this change.
"The lady here seems to have her magical energy after a long time. Hence, her body is still adjusting with this power which is resulting into a nosebleed. But still there some traces of poison in her blood."
"POISON?" Roger exclaimed.
"Yes, poison. It is a very rare poison so I will need some time to detect the poison. But still it not that important as her inner energy has already consumed it easily."
"You mean that she is resistant to poison…..?" Fiona questioned
"Absolutely. She already has an ocean like magical energy flowing thorough her body. Hence, this poison is like a small thing for her… just like a pearl in an ocean."
"But the nosebleed…?" Lupa inquired.
"It is like a purification process going in her body. Don't worry it is just some modifications are made in her body to maintain her energy…. She seems to be someone very powerful, your highness."
"Yes… yes she is!" Lupa answered with grin.
The doctor took out some herbs from his bag and holds it in his palms. He then stood silent and closed his eyes and enchanted it into a pill. He came over to me and gave the pill.
"This will make your nosebleed stop."
He bowed to Lupa and went out. He was a weird fellow with expressionless face.
"What a weird fellow…." I expressed.
"He is a fairy father, one of the best doctor all over OruPrana…." Lupa affirmed proudly.
I swallowed the pill given to me. The pill immediately took its effect. The nosebleed stopped.
("Hmmm… Miraculous pill?")
"I want to rest so I will go to the room.
They were relieved and nodded back.
I went straight to my room.
("That maid…. The one who hide her face, it was her who poisoned my juice?")
I changed my cloths and went to bed immediately. My body felt a bit heavy and tired. Soon I went into a deep sleep….
[In my dream]
I was walking though a narrow path in a cave. The road was moist and filled with lot of pebbles. I had a Ojas Torch in my hand showing the way ahead. There was someone walking ahead me. He was a tall man with broad shoulders wearing cloths like a samurai with a small pony tail.
He had a very upright posture even while walking. Walking ahead we reach to a small opening which led us to a small room like area with tiled floor. But it was full of darkness. He went up ahead in the centre where a small pillar structure was situated. He took out a green crystal and put it on that small pillar which lighted up that area with ojas stones. He then walked some steps ahead and stopped.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked in a broad manly voice.
"Yes I am sure.."
"Queen Ariya please give it one more thought. Even if the oracle is true, still making this choice is very risky."
"Lord, I already told you everything. This is to be done. If this risk I not taken, many innocent lives may suffer.."
"But what is going to happen is still a mystery….."
"My Lord I already explained you that this is a prior setting for everything. When the time comes you just have to execute the plan."
"Yes your Highness."
ZIB! ZIB! ZIB! ZIB!
[back to reality]
I got up again from a mysterious dream.
("Another man whose face was blurred again.. Ugg! This headache…Fiona… Is not here?")
I closed my eyes and went back to sleep.
[The Next Day]
I got up earlier than expected so I sat in the balcony for sometime enjoying the great green view. Then got ready and went to the dining room for breakfast. There was no one in there. I sat there alone waiting for others to arrive. Someone unfamiliar entered the room and sat in front of me with a bright smile. He had some features similar to Fiona. He had same green eyes as her but black hair.
"Hello, My lady. It is a pleasure meeting you." He greeted warmly.
"It's a pleasure meeting you too." I greeted him back.
"Let me introduce myself. I am Sylvan Black, duke of Misty Meadow."
"Misty Meadow?"
"You see, I am a leader of this small region in Pulvis."
"Ohh I see.. well, I am Ariya."
"You are already here…." Lupa and Fiona entered the room rushing.
"Dad, You are earlier than the meeting time." Fiona commented.
"Oh dear, I didn't want to miss this breakfast…"
("Dad? So he really is Fiona's dad?")
"Uncle you never told me you were coming."
"Uncle?"
"oh I forgot to tell you… he is my uncle and Fiona's father." Lupa explained.
"You both are cousins?"
"Yes we are.."
"Where is Roger?" I asked.
"Ummm…. I will send someone to call him."
Lupa asked a maid to call Roger. The tasty breakfast was served on the table. Lupa and his uncle were busy in conversing with each other. By then, Roger arrived. He looked a bit annoyed and angry.
"What happened Roger?" Lupa asked.
"...…"
"Did you get any clue?" Lupa asked again.
"I went to look for some clues in the kitchen where I came to know that there was a maid behaving suspiciously. I asked and searched for her but that wench…."
"But what?"
"That maid is nowhere to see. It is making me furious. Someone suspicious came in and poison a drink. How the hell she got in??"
