"Have you finishhhhhh….huh…."
The young boy entered the room abruptly, which made us bounce back away from each other.
"Oh… um.. I am sorry for the disturbance … you can continue… I will come la…"
"No!", we both blurted out loud, stopping that boy.
He stopped and smirked foolishly.
"The work… is completed. Just some documents…." Lupa spoke and put the remaining documents in its place while I closed the window and cleared the mess. After completing it rapidly we went ahead into the next room which happened to be a library.
"Why is it so dark here?" Lupa inquired.
"Usually the entrance area of Library is visible but today it is due to the rain. And this are ahead is always dark in order to confuse the new people…"
"Confuse?"
"Yes. As you can sense that this narrow pathway leads in, but in reality it leads to the exit. The doorway to the inner library lies here in the dark. This side door which appear invisible leads inside the secret library…."
There were several traps set in order to prevent any unknown presence. That path was safe and sound which tells that those people were indeed mislead.
("wow this boy knows well… what was his name again?... umm.. wait we didn't even asked him his name?!")
"Ummm… what is your name?"
It was a really very foolish question after staying with that person for a while…
("I can't believe we forgot to ask his name…")
"Urim. My name is Urim." He answered.
("That's a very rare name… but quite suitable for this boy … somewhat Persian….")
"Urim… that's a very nice name… so where is your master?" I inquired.
"After the whole incident, master was very tense. He was in a deep confusion and was having some thoughts about the situation. Hence, he went on to the headmaster for his guidance…."
"Headmaster?"
"We are guided by Excellent Masters whereas the Headmaster hasn't appeared in front of students…He just meets the Masters…."
"What exactly is doubtful here…?" Lupa asked.
"As you can see, this is one type of school to upgrade our special skills under our masters in our respective fields and skills. Hence, breaking in here will only prove a disappointment to the robbers or bandits because there is nothing to steal here except for our skills, which is hardly possible….."
"[chuckles] So what do you think, why did that incident took place..?" Lupa tried to reason.
"Uummm… From my point of view, I think, they were looking for the locker keys…"
("Locker Keys…. The one that Queen Ariya gave me….?")
"Locker keys?"
"Some years back, several unbreakable lockers were made by headmaster using his intense magical knowledge, which were provided to various important people as a keepsake. The people were personally selected by headmaster himself. But some years later, due to some circumstances all the lockers were retrieved and were kept secret in the hidden temple which was locked with a magical security device. Then only certain people approved by headmaster were allowed to use those lockers with an ideal magical key for respective lockers. People with keys are only accessible to these lockers otherwise it is impossible. Hence, for security reasons, headmaster created another spare key for each locker but no one knows where are they kept … except for Headmaster…."
"Hmmm… but… don't you think you shouldn't tell us this information…. You know we can be one of the robbers or even worse than that…." Lupa teased Urim.
"Holly molly! I lost my track while speaking…. But… you all don't seem like evil people…." Urim replied innocently.
"[giggle] Still… don't trust… everyone around you…" Lupa commented with disappointment and moved ahead."
Roger and Fiona were inside a small door which opened up to be a tall chamber library. It was a bit dark in there lightened with only few light sources. Roger and Fiona were busy repairing a magical gadget which lay on the tabled. It looked a bit difficult to fix it.
"What's that?" I curiously asked.
"This is TRIJAL. It seems to be broken…. Due to some high level magic force… Its kind of difficult to restore it now…." Roger replied.
"TRIJAL?... What exactly it does?"
"It detects any harmful presence of any magic or person and creates an illusion to distract the person…" Fiona explained.
Urim looked around for a bit while his eyes turned wide opened and his body froze into a shock.
"Urim? "
"….."
We looked in the dark where he was looking but it was nothing to be found there….
"Urim?" I tapped his shoulder to gain his attention. But he was unfazed.
("There is someone here in the dark…. This ominous feeling… just like when the bandit came… what should I do? Think Urim think! Something ….. What should I dooo?")
Hearing his thought heightened up my senses. An unknown presence could be sensed around.
It was thundering again and the light reflecting from windows helped us detect it. Again, it was heavily raining. Spark Yellow eyes glowed here in dark. It was a frightening sight. But it turned out to be horrible once we heard some groaning.
GROAN! GRRRRR!
"[Whisper] Lupa… What is that?"
"[Whisper] I… don't Know…."
GRRR! GRRR!
It was like a wild growl, of some dangerous, deadly, vicious animal…..
Grrrr! GRRRRRR!
We were silent and were trying to think for some saluting when a Monstrous animal attacked us with a big GROWL….
But….
It went pass through us? ….
"what is going on?" we all were confused when Urim spoke…
"It.. it is a SPIRIT…."
"SPIRIT?"
It growled again with face melting down in green sticky fluid. It was awfully disgusting yet it went back to its figure and tried to attack us one more time. But it eventually pass through us again which made it furious. It growled again loudly and ran past us….
"Where is it going on…? Roger exclaimed and we all ran after it.
It went swiftly in the air and went through a door which was near a dark corner.
"Huff! Where does this way lead?" Lupa asked.
"The BASEMENT..?" Urim replied with an anxious look.
