"What the hell happened to you?!"
The zombie was none other than Lupa himself. It absolutely felt like his life sucked out of his body. He walked in and collapsed in front of us. We all were shocked to see him like that.
"Pffttt.." Roger guffawed.
"Roger!" Fiona got to Lupa and helped him up to sit.
"Pfft! What exactly did Miss Psycho say?"
"Don't tell me… She is going to do something to you? Or cursing you?"
"Pfft! Fiona he was already cursed when he met her for the first time…"
Roger was continuously laughing while Fiona gave unreasonable reasons. It seriously was an unbelievably hilarious situation. Lupa got straight and spoke to us….
"SHE IS OUT OF HER MIND….."
[Befuddled]
"Pfft! We know that… but what did she do to you?" Roger asked.
"When I went in her room, she talked to me normally… just like a bright person. But her expressions changed as soon as I mentioned about the incident from morning... and… and she started spouting nonsense which was even worse than anything… she thinks I LIKE HER!... I mean can you believe it? [everyone knows she likes you except for you] and that she will destroy Queen Ariya once again… just like she did it last time…. She is more intense that she was before… I am afraid she might get even worse… so I am thinking… of .. ERASING HER MEMORY…"
Everyone was bewildered from Lupa's speech.
"WHAT?"
"Have you also lost it Lupa?"
Fiona and Roger were really taken aback by Lupa's sudden decision.
Before they could bombard him with questions I spoke,
"What are you going to erase from her memory….?"
"Ariya, what are you asking…?"
"[stopping] What are you going to erase from her memory, Lupa? Her stubbornness? Her jealousy? Or Her father's love that made her like this?... so you have to erase all the memories? Is this your solution Lups? This is not at all a solution…"
Lupa was sitting quietly.
"If you erase her memory we will lose our one piece from the puzzle. We will be able to find out but still who knows how much time it will take to find the people behind all this. How she got into this dark magic thing? Who are devil worshippers? How is she related to queen Ariya's disappearance? All the answers to these questions will be lost…. And most importantly, whatever crimes she has committed will be forgiven easily… erasing her memory is just an escape for her from all these crimes…"
"Yes. You are right. I rushed my decisions without thinking anything. I was tired of all her nagging and other behaviours. And the moment she spoke about Queen, I lost my senses. I was making a grave mistake.."
Lupa was back to his original self. He breadth out relaxing, Sat down and had some tea.
" I have to inform Marquis Willington…"
"Inform? What?"
"That Lady Carol is worshipping devil..?"
"And do you think he will believe you so easily?" Fiona's disbelief
"Me too." Roger agreed with her.
"Why don't we do something, complete opposite of that?" I advised
"What do you mean?"
"Call her father here. Tell him that she attacked someone and let her go home without any other information."
"Don't you think that it can be hazardous for others as well as us?"
"Why don't you hear me out first, Roger?"
"Aaumm… please continue.."
"You just need to tell him that she attacked someone not me. It will create even more confusion if he knows about me. Let someone follow her all the time. She will obviously try to reach those people when she gets out of her."
"We have to send someone to trail her…."
"But, why will she go looking for them?" Fiona asked
"There are two reasons I have – 1. Because Queen Ariya is BACK again. 2. Because someone who looks like queen Ariya is back and can be hazardous for them."
"Correct…."
"I think the first reason is more appropriate for her as she firmly believes I am queen Ariya."
"That will be the best state to bring those worms out of their holes." Lupa stated.
"And there is no need for us to prove her that I am 'Queen Ariya' because she already believes it."
("This Kid..(chuckles) is more amazing then I think!")
We were all done with our plan and other things. Lupa ordered his knights to bring Marquis Willington. Waiting for his arrival, we informed Lupa about the Village and Vincent Clawhouse.
"We should go there and have a look there…"
"And for more information, the key that Queen Ariya gave you belongs to a locker in Vendogri village."
TAK! TAK! TAK! [knocking]
"Your highness, Marquis Willington has arrived and is waiting for you in the meeting room…"
"I will be back…" Lupa left the room.
After Lupa went out Roger hinted us to follow him quietly. We followed him to the meeting room and were basically trying to hear their conversation through the door.
"You mean my little Carol… she attacked someone?"
"yes… and I would like you to take responsibility for this matter."
"Your Highness! Thank you! Thank you for your mercy! I will immediately take that kid back with me…."
The plan was finally set up and then Roger whispered to us,
"Let us go back…"
We went back to lounge with light feet.
"So what type of person is Marquis Willington exactly?" I asked curiously.
"He was a good man….. before he had that child.." Roger replied.
"But that guy, he was very respectful to Lupa… It doesn't feel like he was evil or something."
"He is a wise man. He knows everything about his daughter and her behaviour in society. He handles her very well as he knows, he is responsible for it himself. And he is not in a position to lose his favour to Lupa."
"A good man but with a wicked foolish child…."
"NO! I AM NOT LEAVING!!"
