Getting back to the others, we continued with the hiking. Max went to Chris while I joined Chloe, "I heard what happened, if I was there, I would have kicked his ass, in control or not." Chloe groaned, shifting her feet around.
I smiled at her sadly, "I know you would have but that's okay, I don't want to talk about that, it's more of a battle between our wolves. I'll stay out of it, she's mad still, clawing at me and pacing around, begging to be let out to make him pay."
"Damn, she's a savage. I heard what happened, she was ready to kill Max." I sighed, not really into it. "Sorry, how about. The school party? Are you ready? It's like in a week. I need a dress and shoes; the theme is gala. So, you know, we need to dress to impress."
"I forgot about the party; I don't know yet. I don't even know if I'm going." I took my bottle out and took a gulp, thirsty. I closed the bottle and put it back in my bag, walking with the others as we reached a hill.
