The instinct of demon makia was sharp as he felt movement in my direction but by then, I had changed Ether's form into an arm band.
The fight between babel and bamel has been going on for few minutes now.
During this time bamel had used external mana manipulation twice to manifest poison weapons and attacked babel while engaging him in melee combat at the same time.
This made babel unable to defend at two front but babel didn't give up and focused his attention on bamel, injuring him leaving his black scales to take the burnt.
Babel looked like a madman attacking bamel again and again in same place, which were his head, stomach and other sensory organs but I knew he was not attacking him blindly and had a strategy in his mind.
More than 50% of the scales from babel body have fallen, while bamel had many places in his body turned completely black filled with cracks due to poison.
Babel's eyes were filled with rage while bamel looked like he would faint any time, the only thing keeping him sane was his anger and great vitality clearly he wasn't used to long drawn fights.
"The beast babel is stronger than I expected." The demon makia spoke without looking in my direction.
"He has lived in a wilderness fighting every day for his life, on the other hand; bamel has spent his life living in luxury, devising cunning plots, which isn't a forte of a beast." I replied.
"That is why he will die, once i get the beast core, on the other hand I am thinking of taking babel alive with me because of his unique abilities, if he don't resist that is." The demon spoke and I gave him an ascetic look as if I would let him touch my possession.
Suddenly I felt the powerful presence move inside the castle heading toward our direction.
'Kill your brother as soon as possible the other demon will arrive here soon.' I sent a message to babel and babel intensified his assault on his brother.
Bamel was trying to destroy the crystal on the forehead of babel, which will turn the tide of this battle in his favor, while babel was aiming at the vital organs of bamel.
As babel desperately tried to kill bamel, bamel found the opening he was looking for and struck the gem on the forehead of babel as it broke in half and fell to the floor, while babel wriggled in pain and fell on his back.
Bamel without giving any time for his brother to recover struck his sharp tail in babel's stomach creating half a meter huge hole.
The wrangling of babel stopped but a fountain of blood leaked out of his stomach staining the floor black, babel was still breathing but laid unconscious on the floor as bamel with a victories smile turned to look in my direction.
"I think I had overestimated your beast." The demon Makia spoke as he looked at bamel annoyingly but before bamel could fully overjoy his victory, something penetrated his stomach creating a hole and separating his core from his body at once.
I had heard many times that a fighter is most venerable, when he has land a finishing blow to his opponent but seeing it with my own eyes was another experience.
Bamel slowly turned to look behind him only to see a black substance covering babel's stomach, hardening it and a long sharp tail of babel penetrating his stomach separating his core from his body.
Babel has known the location of bamel's beast core all along and he had damaged scales of that area to the point his tail felt no resistance penetrating his brothers stomach.
Babel has also bitten the sensory organs of bamel which made it easier for babel's sneak attack to become successful and the result of all that preparation was bamel's death.
"Why… coughhh… yooiuu." As bamel gathered the strength to speak something his eyes closed shut and his body fell to the floor but he was still not dead.
Babel kept stabbing his tail back and forth tearing the flesh of his brother mercilessly as he wept through his half open eyes.
Even with all this rage building up in him, babel didn't lose his mind and outsmarted bamel as he kept biting bamel's sensory organs, making them dull, waiting for this very chance and the instance bamel dropped his guard, babel didn't miss the opportunity dealing a decisive blow, extracting his core from his body at once.
"It seems I spoke too soon." The demon makia spoke.
Instructing a small part of Ether to go and absorb the aura from the body of bamel, I manifested a dark red long sword in my hands and soon a clinggggg sound resounded as my long sword and demon Makia's black blade collided and a shockwave originated pushing us both few steps back.
'Deal with your remaining brothers and distance yourself as far away as possible from here, I will deal with the demons.' I said and babel nodded weakly charging in the direction of his brothers to finish them off as half of the gem on his forehead shone brightly again.
I didn't have the time to verify whether or not babel's brother can be trusted and thus I ordered him to kill them.
The second demon was approaching our location with tremendous speed and thus I charged at demon Makia without holding back to finish him as soon as possible.
The weight of Ether sword was almost non-existing for me but the same could not be said for my opponent, who felt the full force of my draconic physique.
"So it is true, lord jabel has warned me that you are not a simple human, but considering you have not completed your radiant physique you are quite powerful." The demon said pointing his blade at me once again but this time his sword was emitting black gas.
The demon in front of me had the incomplete ethereal physique but his strength was overwhelming considering he hasn't transformed into his beast form yet.
Using [Quick step] I arrived behind the demon Makia but he was quick to react swinging his sword backwards and once again our sword collided.
The demon had his own movement technique and thus it was hard for me to land a decisive blow as our weapon kept colliding again and again.

I applied lightning energy on the Ether sword and imbued it with some fate point at the same time.
I was only able to perform 4 consecutive strikes with this moment technique until the speed exceeds my physical capabilities but that was enough to severely injure the demon in front of me.
The sword in my hand was covered in golden aura and due to enforcing it with lightning energy the sword started to turn more and redder as if to spew lava at any moment.
