Both our swords collided once again but the result this time was different because the black gas on Makia's sword started to recede and edges of his sword started to melt.
The golden aura was created by infusing fate points into the lightning energy I infused in Ether sword and it was more effective against demonic attribute fire ability and weapons than I thought.
He distanced himself from me but using [Crusader step], I slashed him two more time before halting few meter away from him.
The demon looked at me with eyes filled with disbelief and tinge of fear and I looked at the two wounds on his chest which weren't regenerating but soon his lips were curled upward, his fear turned into a vicious smile.
I looked in the other direction for a moment, where another battle was taking place and could see babel struggling to kill rest of his brothers as few more beasts wearing black uniform has joined the fight.
If he dies before becoming king, my mission will fail, and I can't let that happen.
Spreading my soul force in my surrounding, I knocked out weaker beast because babel has already exhausted his soul force fighting bamel thus he wasn't able to use his soul force, and at the same time I used a rank 5 magic spell [Infinite blade] to deal with his brothers.
Around 15 different kind of lightning weapon floated mid-air as I fired them at different enemies injuring and killing them.
I manifested the weapon same as, how bamel was manifesting poison weapons but I was using mana from my own core while bamel was using mana from the atmosphere saving his own mana.
'Get out of here.' I shouted telepathically because the second demon has just arrived in the opposite direction.
I looked north and saw a demon clad in majestic golden rob floating mid-air looking at the battle unfolding beneath and seeing my gaze on him, he motioned me to continue.
'He is underestimating you.' Merlin said.
As I was distracted by babel's fight and second demon's arrival, I didn't notice the approach of demon Makia who was just few centimeter away from me aiming black sword at my head which was still spewing black flames.
My instincts screamed at me as I transformed the Ether sword into a shield and as we both collided, I was thrown back but rotating my body at a weird angle I regained balance mid-air and stopped few meters outside the dueling ground.
"Aren't you both going to attack me?" I asked mocking makia, I knew demons didn't have any pride but I wanted to know their intentions.
"Lord jabel won't interfere in this duel, it is an opportunity for me to evolve or die trying." The demon Makia spoke.
"I would be an idiot to believe the words of a demon." I said understanding that unless the life of this demon Makia threatened the other demon won't interfere.
"Think whatever you want." The demon said and suddenly his skin started to spill some unknown metal which covered his whole skin creating a armor, his already tall body grew by 3 more feet, he manifested two large fangs in his mouth and his sharp claws grew few more centimeters becoming longer and sharper.
His black hairs were waving in the air as if a fire has been lit on his head as he transformed into a beast which was similar to a werewolf.
'A silver demonic werewolf, it will be a tough fight but try not to use your draconic transformation or you will definitely lose to that other demon.' Merlin's warning resounded in my head.
'I know.' I replied but didn't move because I saw a small part of Ether advancing toward me which I had sent to absorb the aura from bamel's body, soon it entered my body which both demon's failed to notice.

I received a notification and rejoiced that this bamel guy wasn't a complete waste after all.
"Before I accidently kill you, tell me where the beast core is?" The demon Makia asked me.
"You don't have to worry about me, I am quite sturdy and won't die, and you can go all out so that when you lose, you don't have any complains." I said and soon the whole ceiling of cave was covered with thick black cloud at my call.
"That is what I wanted to hear." The demon eyed the clouds in annoyance and fired a black fire breath at the clouds vaporizing them but soon more cloud took their place and rain started to fell from the sky followed by legion of [Lightning bolts].
"What happened, I thought dogs liked rain." I said smirking at demon who charged at me with his hand covered in red aura because his fire attacks were less effective in the current situation, he resorted to use aura.
I constantly used [Quick step] but the demon in his full beast transformation with enhanced strength was able to follow my movements without difficulty.
I was making multiple [Lightning bolts] fall on his skin intentionally, which divided his attention, and the thunder roar and blinding light stunned him for few moments, while I was using [Dragon gaze] and thus [Lightning bolts] didn't obstruct my senses much.
Ignoring the barrage of [Lightning bolts] the demon makia focused his whole attention on me, because [Lightning bolts] were not doing much damage on his metal skin.
I continuously imbued the Ether sword with fate points and clashed using [Crusader step] but the boost demon makia received from transformation was nothing to scoff off.
Slowly wounds and fatigue was starting to build up in both our bodies as I engaged with the demon makia in melee combat, while my sword and his claws collided leaving many sparks and shockwave everywhere.
Not yet, I thought as I kept exchanging and evading blows with him.
The demon makia was using his aura coated claws to block my attacks but he didn't notice that the Ether sword was slowly chipping away his aura, transferring it to me.

The metallic skin of makia wasn't able to nullify all the damage done to his body as there was no specific counter against the attacks imbued with fate point and understanding there was no need to prolong this fight any more, I prepared a spell to finish the fight with my next attack.
