[Time: 8:30 PM]
[Location: South Eastern Desper, not too far from the Gorilla's base.]
The South Eastern area was in an uproar as innocent civilians ran away for their lives from the fight that was raging on. Flames burst through every corner of certain buildings, burning and incinerating everything they touched in an instant.
As people ran away for their lives, Desper's Police and Fire Fighters quickly rushed in to rescue, help, and save as many lives as possible, put out the raging flames, and keep them from spreading any further.
Just at a safe distance from the heat of the fight, robotic and human units pitched up roadblocks to keep the people from going in and help those that were coming out. At the roadblock stood many men, women, and children who were saddened by the distraction of their homes, their properties, and their businesses. However, there were some from different parts of Desper condemning the police for not doing anything.
"If you idiots did your jobs, none of this would happen. That beast should have been handled by the MPF."
"The MPF should handle this, not you."
"Send the MPF. They have the strength for this."
The same people who hated the MPF were blasting Desper's Police for doing nothing, forgetting that this caught everyone by surprise. Amongst those complaining were news anchors as well looking for a shot to get a huge story. Sadly for them, they were denied access even though they lied about having passed to 'inspect and record' what the people needed to see."
"Officer please," One of the news anchors pleaded. She was a lady with a prosthetic right arm holding a microphone in one hand dressed in a blood-red jacket and a slightly short skirt that hugged her slim but attractive white-skinned body. She had narrow brown eyes, plump soft lips, and hazel-brown hair that was tied in a bun. "I've been granted access to crime scenes for two years now. I am Desper's leading news anchor. The people of this fine city deserve to know what's happening. They must know how their taxes are being used or wasted. They…."
"They need to tell you to back up." The officer barked back while aiming his gun at her. "This place is too dangerous for you or anyone else to go in. If you don't back down, I'll have no choice but to use force."
With a serious look on his face, the officer pointed his gun in the direction he wanted the woman and her cameraman to wander off.
"Listen," The lady stood her ground and stubbornly refused to listen to the officer's orders. "If you refuse to grant me access and no one sees this, the whole city will go for your neck, see." She smirked while holding up her phone which was currently showing a live stream of the current situation.
Hundreds of comments were being sent and some of them were threats to have the officer either fired or brutally injured if he didn't let the woman through. "These people need to know, we need to know. It's for our own safety. So please, let me in."
The officer was furious and wished to hit the grin off the woman's face but there were too many witnesses and his robotic unit companion wouldn't allow it. Without having a choice, the officer gave in and let the woman and her cameraman through.
"Thanks fella." She taunted while double tapping his backside. "Let's hurry. We have to get to a higher vantage point and capture everything." She said to her cameraman as they advanced deeper to where the flames burned the hottest.

In the heat of the action stood six, heavily armed robot units, each having a large staff with a curved blade at both ends. Unlike the regular robot units, these six had thicker upper bodies, more steel added to their limbs to act as reinforcements, and two more staffs on their backs for when they needed them.
These robots, D2 Units, were second out of the six-tiered units used for handling threats like beasts causing chaos in the city
"Beast Threat: Suburban Threat.".
"Abilities possessed by it: Flames."
"Shape: Humanoid. Potentially possessing human intelligence."
"Casualties lost: Over thirty."
"Goal: Take it out as soon as possible."
The six D2 units grouped together and slowly advanced into a literal firewall that was created by the beast and acted as a divide between in and anyone else. As they did so, their mechanical bodies started to glow a violent red as steam puffed out from all sides.
"Heat Temperatures: Critical."
"Target Acquired."
"Initiate Attack."
The six D2's immediately sprinted through the flames as soon as their sensors spotted a heat signature that was responsible for causing this rampage. The shape of the being was similar to that of a human with the exception of its tail and spiraled horns on its head. Its height was similar to a man in his twenties but his muscle mass was similar to that of a god. Its skin was black with beautiful dark scales aligning its arms, legs, head, and entire back with its underbelly being white with segmented white scales. Its thin, slanted eyes burned with rage, and confusion as it looked at the six unmanned and unknown beings in front of it.
"HALT, IN THE NAME OF THE…" The first D2 unit was engulfed in a cloud full of flames that came from the beast's palm. The others quickly took flight and surrounded the beast from the air. With their staffs gripped tight in their three-fingered claws, the units fell to the beast one by one, each with a powerful hit to whatever part of the beast they wanted.
The beast roared, screamed, and grunted in pain as the attacks continued nonstop. The D2 units switched tactics and got back to the ground as the beast remained still. Nearly lifeless due to it being beaten almost half to death, the beast slowly got up on its feet, however, its sides were injured and black blood was seeping from a cut left behind.
"Target has been injured."
"Finish it."
