"The income is getting higher." Mr Albert complained looking at the write-up displayed on the screen.
"I made it so." Someone answered from the end role seat by the right.
"Why Riley?" Mr Albert turned his gaze to his friend.
"The resources are scarce," Riley answered pointing at the chart.
"So?"
"We are unable to reach the profit outcome."
Getting perplexed, he said. "The weather should cause that, we all know."
"Yes, but the forecast does not have full access to when the weather will get okay soon," Director Yukon tried to explain.
"That cannot be a reason to increase the sales price." Mr Albert added, stood up, and moved toward the projector chart.
"See this." He pointed to a graph directly on the chart. "It won't fall if the resources have to fall a hundred times. Changing the price could make the demands low, please take note of this." He said, "Make sure it returns to the price before it gets noticed out there in the public". He added and returned to take his seat.
"Sir?" Director Yukon called.
Sideon turned "Yes?"
"We were invited to the ex-president's birthday." Directly Yukon relayed.
"What has that got to do with me," Sideon asked with his eyebrow raised.
"It sure does have something to do with you, I hope you remember Duke is his son." Riley let out.
Sideon stared at his friend waiting for more explanation.
Riley continued, "I hope you can have a good relationship with them because we all know what is up and who Duke is," He said while others nodded as they all had a clue of what Riley meant.
Sideon cleared his throat and sat upright, plopping his fingers together on the table.
With a serious face, he started "I don't think this should be bothering you. It's a birthday celebration for his Dad, not Duke himself and I'm very sure Mr Stewart wouldn't want to make his day a topic for reporters, whereas the president will be coming along so I see no reason why we should be discussing this." Sideon paused to look at their faces, "What do you think Riley?" He confronted his friend.
"I hope it goes well as you have spoken of," Riley replied sheepishly.
"Alright then, anything else?" He asked as they continued on some more issues before the meeting was adjourned.
"President sir." Mr Albert saluted as soon as he entered the President's office.
"Have your seat." Mr Travis said as he removed the recommended spec from his eyes, "I heard we are having problems with the system."
"Yes, but it is not confirmed, sir." Mr Albert revealed. "It looks like someone is trying to hack into them."
"What are you doing about it?" President Travis asked.
"We are on it, sir."
"Are you trying to tell me that you're keeping quiet on it?"
A pause came in for a few seconds.
"I will send a message to GEM as soon as possible," Sideon promised.
"Sure, you should, and make sure I'm the first to know whatever could have gone wrong, I won't accept excuses this time Sideon" Mr Travis warned, "The vice president has something she wants to show you." President Travis concluded.
"What about it sir?" Mr Albert, looking satisfied, asked.
"Get an appointment man, you are dismissed."
"Yes sir." Sideon nodded before taking his leave.
"Where were you throughout last week's Maths?" His friend, Davis asked as Maths was busy playing a tone on his guitar.
"I went to Orleans" He muttered his gaze still on his guitar.
"Grandmother's place?" Shed asked.
"Yes, Why?" He asked perking up this time.
"We were worried." They both chorused, staring at him.
"You should have informed us. My dad won't stop asking about you." Shed mumbled looking like he had cried during the whole time Maths was away.
"Your dad?" Maths asked bewildered looking towards Shed.
"Yes?" Shed replied, waiting for an answer.
The studio became silent. The three friends have known each other since childhood but only get a little chance to have a proper chat as Maths is always the cold time and wouldn't want to have a proper time with his childhood friends.
Davis and Shed were both 18 years old which made their classes different from Maths but they all attended Brooklyn Academy.
The shed is a cool singer and also the son of Math's father's best friend, Riley.
He was well-known for his career and also for his cuteness. All Maths songs were sung by him since Maths himself was not interested in singing.
Davis, president Travis's son, loves drumming and is into fashion. He flirts a lot with girls but has a female best friend named Nancy. He was the type who never took things seriously, always teasing.
"I met someone interesting at school today," Davis finally brought up a topic. "She's so beautiful, I don't think I have seen her before because her actions were weird."
"What did you do this time?" Shed asked calmly.
"I told her she was beautiful and wink at her, and she smiled and muttered a thank you. Like seriously, every other girl would have fainted with just my smile but she was an exception". He explained the situation since it was shocking.
Shed burst out laughing. "What was your reaction?" He asked again, trying hard to suppress his laugh.
"It's surprising, yet it seems like she's new in school," Davis replied and shrugged his shoulders.
"I have a new song." Math's deep voice cut them shut.
"Titled?" Davis asked as he leapt on his feet to sit beside Maths.
"Don't know yet."
"What do you mean you don't know ?" Shed asked, baffled.
"I said I don't know!" He snapped wildly.
"Hmm_", Both Davis and Shed muttered as they were already used to his outburst.
"Can I look through the song, maybe I can help with some hints." Davis proposed but got no response.
"We'll be waiting and please make it quick. I have a show in a few months." Shed pleaded, giving him a cheeky smile.
