"Wake up Alec, George is here to see you." Gracie calls from down the hall.
"Ugh, I'm too tired for this." Alec groans as he gets out of bed.
Alec walks down the hall until he gets to the living room, the front door is behind a glass barrier that is set up with two chairs and a prison telephone on the wall of both sides. Another door connected to the glass wall is the way Gracie can leave the house to go to work and what not, she is the only one able to open the door as she makes a key out of earth to open it.
George is sitting on a chair waiting for Alec. Alec sits down, waves to George, and picks up the phone.
"Hey George how are you doing?"
"Dude, I just got into the entrance exam for SU! Isnt that crazy?"
"WHAT? Bro I'm so happy for you. How's your healing coming along?"
"I can heal two people from 5 feet away."
"Bro what? you could only heal one person from five feet away last week!"
"The school recognized my strength and decided to have a superhero help me increase my power. But anyway, how's your secret plan coming along?"
"Mom found me out. But, she decided that we would go out of town for the weekend to train my power! Were leaving at 1."
"Well she just left and it's 10 so I wonder what she's doing."
"She said she had to take a shift for someone at the warehouse. She'll be back by 12."
"Well have you at least tried to figure out what you can do? I bet you can suck the life out of anyone you want. Or, maybe you can create blasts of darkness from your hands like lightning does!"
"I haven't tested because I don't want to make mom mad. But I'll figure it out when we leave."
"Well, I gotta go. The entrance exam starts at 12. Bye, Alec."
"Bye, George."
At 12 Gracie got back from her work, and told Alec to begin packing. Alec already told told her that he was done packing and that he was ready to leave as soon as she was. She laughed and went into her room.
"Alec, your sure your ready to go?"
"Yeah mom I'm sure. Are you?"
"Yes let's go."
They then met in the living room where Alec took Gracie's bag. Gracie then touched the ground in a certain place and formed a key out of the ground. Alec has always thought that her power was crazy cool. She then unlocked the door and Alec walked out fo the house for the first time ever.
