Gracie smiling said, "I want you to use your power. Punch with your fist without getting rid of the smoke."
"Ok, I'll use all of my power."
Alec made a fist and punched at the scarecrow. The smoke after hitting the scarecrow, moved to it and enveloped it. After the smoke dissipated the scarecrow seemed to look corroded, black marks were left in places that hadn't had some before hand, plus these ones looked more like stains that scorch marks. Gracie seemed impressed with Alec, saying "Good now try kicking."
Alec looked at his foot and the smoke enveloped it. He threw a kick at the scarecrow again and this time it didnt do anything. it just left a dent in the right side if the abdomen. Gracie told him to kick a different one and again the smoke enveloped the scarecrow and corroded it, leaving black marks on it. Gracie then said to punch it again and it didnt do anything, just left a dent in the chest.
Gracie seems to understand what was happening. The smoke only seemed to be able to affect something once at a time, so if you punch and corrode then punching it again wont corrode it more. You have to wait for the smoke to have cleared out of the person again.
Alec tried to do many other things but the smoke only worked on his foot and when he made a fist, chopping and slapping did not work at all.
Gracie told him.that that was enough for now and they went go eat dinner. Alec after eating went straight back to the scarecrows to keep testing his ability, while Gracie sat and read some news on her tablet.
At around 9:30 at night Alec cam back and went straight to bed looking very tired. Gracie followed soon after.
