When Layla gets home, Nicole welcomes her with so much excitement and love. When Layla freshens up, Nicole serves all of Layla's favorite dishes and the entire family treat themselves to the dishes. This includes Alex, his uncle and Max. As everyone else is busy chatting to themselves, Layla looks at her little cousin and sees the happiness all over her face.
"I can see that you have so much joy all over you! Do you have a boyfriend? Tell me the secret" Layla jokes with Nicole.
Nicole let's Layla know she has something in store for her which she will tell at bedtime. After the joyous and festive dinner,Max,Alex and his uncle go home. Since Nicole and Layla now share the bedroom, Nicole locks the doors and takes out a price of newspaper and gives it to Layla to read. Layla reads it audibly enough,
" Powerful and famous actor Liam Greyson's father makes arrangements for a new bodyguard for his son at his wrestling school after Liam survives a gunshot in his shoulder three days ago.
Note: No women are allowed to participate in this challenge"
Layla remembers that she and her team were in fact the ones that attacked Liam in an attempt to rob him but she doesn't tell Nicole that. She distracts herself by asking what this has to do with her.
" You can fight men and women. You're smart and courageous so I think you should compete!" Little Nicole responds with so much excitement.
Layla reminds Nicole that the instructions strictly say no women are allowed to participate in the challenge. Nicole takes her time to explain to Layla that she can come up with a man's disguise and plus the bodyguard will be paid so much money. The sound and thought of so much money for been an ordinary bodyguard brings a smile on Layla's face,
" You're right...I have a man's hair cut, I have a medium height and I have strength. I'll do it" She smiles even more, " I have to make my family's life better"
Nicole and Layla shake hands and vow to keep this job a secret and between themselves. Nicole even takes it upon herself to help her cousin shop for male clothes before the challenge the next morning. Before classes, Nicole and Layla go to the supermarket for shopping. They buy some muscle shirts, t-shirts and male pants. And finally,a perfect moustache to hide Layla's female face. They enter the changing room and Nicole helps her wear the male outfits,they cover her small breast with a compression bandage to make them invisible. And for the last touch,a moustache with durable glue such that it can't fall off unless you pull it out aggressively. Layla steps out of the changing room looking like a man from top to bottom. Nicole gives Layla a new name David Hunter. They high five each other and leave the shop and they put Layla's clothes in a gym bag which she is to carry around for easy changing. When Layla drops Nicole off at her school, all the girls start admiring Layla not knowing she is a girl and the boys start to feel jealous with the fear of losing their girlfriends to the hottest new bachelor in town.
" Oh wow! Look at that hot guy!" One of the school girls admires Layla, " I bet he is Nicole's boyfriend" The other girl goes.
Nicole and Layla laugh silently. Nicole kisses Layla on the cheek and tells her, " I'll keep you as my boyfriend for the meantime. Now you go and get that job... David Hunter"
Both the girls laugh. Layla gives Nicole a light slaps on the cheek and she rides off on her motorcycle. After 10 minutes of riding, Layla comes to the Grayson mansion and she is directed to the competition section. When Layla enters the big room, Everyone stares at her confidence and walk. Soon,Liam,his father and sister walk in. When Charlotte Liam's sister looks into Layla's eyes she is mesmerized, " wow he is so good looking" She thinks to herself. To make a good impression, Layla winks at Charlotte and her heart melts with admiration. The fighting challenge starts after everyone else fights,there are only two finalists left. That is David ( Layla) and another random huge man. The final competition begins and Charlotte hopes the cute guy wins . Despite her competitor being two times huge than her, Layla uses her tricks and techniques to outsmart the guy and she wins the fighting challenge. Charlotte is happy that her few minutes crash has won the fight. Just then, Some masked men enter the big room and they point guns at Liam, His father Jake and Charlotte. They ask Layla to lay down or they shoot. Layla however doesn't show any sign of fear. She starts walking towards the man pointing the gun at Charlotte slowly at steady while keeping eye contact with him so he can be intimidated. She soon reaches the guy and before he could blink, Layla grabs the gun and points it at him and he gets frightened.
Layla looks at the guy, smiles and puts on a manly voice asking him, " what's wrong? Too slow?"
Layla asks all the others to drop their guns or she shoots their friend. They all drop their guns and Jake applauds Layla.
" Well done David Hunter, you are now My son, Liam's bodyguard" He pats Layla on the shoulder.
Seeing the confusion,Jake explains that the invasion was a plan to test the new bodyguard and David passed. Charlotte also congratulates David and so does Liam. Jake takes David with inside the house and she's amazed by how big the whole mansion is. Jake introduces David to the whole family. But when she sees Liam's cousin she knows trouble awaits,
" Oh no...thank God am in a disguise otherwise this woman would have recognized me and she would have gotten me fired even before I got hired. Nicole's plan for a disguise was a good idea. But how is this possible? How can Miss Martha be the celebrity's cousin?"
