When David and Liam are all ready,they step out of the room. David however stays behind to call his grandma while Liam joins the party downstairs. David calls Coco but uses a girls voice to let her know that she won't be coming back home till late in the night because her boss' daughter has a party and she is one of the security people.
" What will I do now Layla?" Coco freaks out, " Zoe, Stella, Jade and I are at a wedding ceremony. We left Nicole home alone because we thought you'd be there to babysit her!"
Layla provides a solution by telling Coco she'll ask Nicole to come over and this gives her relief. David tries to call Nicole but Mariah interrupts,
" David! Aunt is looking for you because she needs your assistance" Mariah takes David by the hand.
When the two walk away, Martha steps out of the corner where she overheard David's conversation and this leaves her thinking,
" Why did David use a female voice just now? And his voice...it sounds familiar to me. Nicole? Coco? Where did I hear these names? Now it's clear there's something fishy going on here and I must find out" Martha heads to the party. David escorts Mrs Grayson to the attic so he can help her carry a box of some old toys. He sees Mrs Grayson picking some toys and putting them in a medium box. As he helps her,he sees a photo of a baby boy who looks like Liam. Out of curiosity, David picks it and asks Mrs Grayson if it's her son in the photo. She looks at it and nodes with a wide smile.
" You know Madam?" David engages Mrs Grayson into a conversation to break the awkward silence, " I have a best friend who looks exactly like Liam Sir,if you ask them to stand side by side one would say they're twins. He's name is Alex... Alexander Newman"
" Alex?" Mrs Grayson pauses for a minute.
" Yes" David answers in excitement but sees the disturbance on Mrs Grayson's face and asks if she's okay but she gets back to what she was doing.
When she's done,Mrs Grayson asks David to lift the box. David lifts the box without any difficulty. As they walk out of the attic, David is curious to know where Mrs Grayson is sending the toys.
" I'm sending them to someone" She answers.
David puts the box of used toys in a car that drives away and goes back to the party holding Mrs Grayson's hand. This is a whole new feeling for Layla who starts to imagine deep down that she's holding her mom's hand. Liam assembles David and some other four hired security men giving them a responsibility of making sure there are no intruders at the party putting David in charge. After assigning the security men their duty posts, David remembers that he has to call Nicole and ask her to come over with her pistol. Unknown to him,Martha is keeping a very close eye on him. David steps outside and calls Nicole and gives her the address. Martha leaves David to go and give her mom some information she just found out. When she ends the call, Layla finds Alexander's missed call so she calls back. Just when she thought Liam was no longer her gang's target, Alexander let's her know that they'll be raiding his house during the party but they need her help to defeat Liam's new bodyguard.
Layla refuses to join the guys in their raid,
" I'm sorry buddy but I can't make it. My boss' daughter has a birthday celebration and am the one to look after the girl. One more thing, I think you guys should abort the mission or you might get into trouble" She gives a piece of advice.
When Alexander tells Max that Layla won't make it,he gets seriously upset with the fact that she is neglecting her job. But he sends the remaining team on the mission. Nicole arrives at the Grayson's house and the first person she comes across is Martha and they get into a heated argument when Martha recognizes her.
" You? Why are you here? Oh! I know, you came to beg for food and steal like your big sisters? That's the problem with you poor people!" Martha insults Nicole who claps back with some words of her own.
" Look here girl" Nicole points a finger at Martha and intimidates her, " I've had enough of your nonsense,last time you came to my house and caused chaos. This is why you're single you're so proud. You should be married by now but you're living in your cousins house shame on you. Now let me find my David and don't stop me or I'll push you!"
Nicole makes an attempt to enter the house but Nicole pushes her away powerfully and she falls to the ground.As she is looking for David, Nicole meets Liam and she is overwhelmed by joy. Liam gives her an autograph,they take a photo and Liam personally takes Nicole to David. David introduces Nicole as his cousin and he Liam soon becomes friends with her. He takes Nicole to meet the rest of the family while Jake takes David with him to his room and shows him a safe with a real expensive diamond in it and entrusts him with it's safe keeping. Everything becomes clear to David as to why his gang friends want to raid the Grayson mansion. He goes to look for Nicole to enlist her help. David orders a pack of sedatives and it is delivered to her she shares it with Nicole and tells her part of the plan. Evans arrives at the party with some waiters to save the food and they go to the kitchen. As Nicole is passing by the kitchen,she overhears the waiters discussing their mission,
" We should make sure we carry out all the instructions given to us by the boss" One of them says.
Nicole luckily remembers one of the men's voice, Alexander. She informs Layla over the phone of the waiters' real identity. David notices something about her group of security men,he sees them talking to someone in black but she is unable to see the mysterious person because he or she is standing in the dark. Now it's clear that David has to battle two groups of intruders to keep the billion dollar diamond safe. And she starts to think about the other set of thugs,
" Something bothers me,how is it that these people are get know about Liam's location all the time he goes out and about every precious thing that is kept in this house? I'll find out about that later but right now,that diamond is my number one priority"
