So much has happened in the past few days, Ast had got some amazing powers a loyal and powerful subordinate, and he even freed himself from the curse but at the same time he also lost so much, he had experienced both the rise and the fall within a few days it still felt so unreal to him, but it was still not time for him to rest as a new challenge has been thrown his way.
But the good thing was that now he holds all the power and his enemies would soon be helpless in front of him. Although it was sad that he couldn't kill them for good. The system talked about damage to the physical and soul but there was no mention of the damage to one's mentality.
Ast has been paying attention to the system message and he caught on to this point rather quickly maybe because he was looking for a way to hurt his enemies. So what it meant was Ast could torture his enemies to the point that they would be traumatised and wished for a quick death. But the question was why Ast had so much confidence in dealing with his enemies this time around.
After Ast told Viktor that he could use his powers at first Viktor didn't understand what he meant by that but then Ast elaborated.
"Viktor I believe that system must have blocked everyone's talent right, although I don't understand what else was blocked, as you see in my case yes the talent was taken away but surprisingly only the SSS grade 'The Analyst' talent," said Ast with a grin.
Viktor didn't get what Ast was trying to say.
'Didn't Master only have this one talent which other talent he might have? huh.. wait, he didn't mean...gasp' Viktor still didn't want to assume anything and waited for Ast to complete his explanation.
"I have lost the temporary part of my talent 'the analyst' but the 'All seeing eye' and the two talents that were in the permanent section still exist and right now it feels like I have two separate individual talents 'Blood Monarch' and 'Soul Contractor' "
Viktor was looking at Ast with excitement and awe, his master was truly blessed. It now became clear to him how Ast had obtained this cheat. How the system worked in this event was clear to him, the system blocks the talent, bloodline and elemental power of anyone entering this event.
In the case of Ast, he did indeed change his race but up to this point, he had not activated his bloodline powers and right now he was not even aware of elemental powers so the only thing that Ast had was a talent that the system itself had bestowed upon him.
But here comes the trick, his talent was special it allowed him to enter 3 permanent and 3 temporary talents, now the tricky part was that the system had indeed given him this talent but the talents activated in the permanent section were special, during each permanent talent activation Ast had gone through a drastic change in both his body and soul, these talent were no longer linked with his analyst talent anymore. So in principle, it was like Ast had obtained two new talents altogether.
But this is not even the most ridiculous part, even if someone has other talents the system was omnipotent it could detect these talents and block them inside the event but again this did not apply to Ast.
If you look closely at how Ast had obtained these two heaven-defying SS grade talents then each time he had to copy it from someone already possessing these talents and then go through a process of assimilation where his body and soul grew to become the perfect container for these talents.
And each time Ast felt that he had consumed a lot of soul power to copy these talents but how could a single person's soul power be sufficient to copy these heaven-defying talents? The only other time a task of such magnitude was done was when the system itself bestowed people with talent. But to compare the mysterious and omnipotent system to a single human would be foolish. So the question is how did Ast manage to pull this off, how was he able to possess two new talents?
With years of research and knowledge, Viktor could only come up with a single answer that would explain Ast's peculiarity. Ast was drawing power from the system during all these events. Only through his individual power, it was impossible to acquire and sustain such new and powerful talents. This all could be supported by the existence of his various panels which indicated that Ast had some authority which allows him to draw the power of the system.
But this all didn't mean that the system was helping Ast, no, it was more likely that someone had specially and very meticulously designed Ast's talent 'The Analyst' for him and what this talent of his specialises in is to fool and use the system in ways favourable to Ast.
It was as if someone had hacked into a very powerful software and was now using it for their benefit.
So now his two talents 'Blood Monarch' and 'Soul Contractor' would be thought of by the system as a sub-product of his main talent but in reality, they existed as a separate entity.
