Ast then brought Luna up to date about their adventures and their enemies. Although it was not possible to tell her everything in one go, Ast and Viktor managed to provide her with a summary.
Ast hadn't checked his talent's panel for a while so he began checking that.
His 'Blood Monarch' talent was level 2 now.

His 'Absolute Servitude skill was still greyed out and inaccessible but the 'ghouls' skill had reached level 2 and now he could recruit/create 5 ghouls for his legion.
Then he looked at the talent, that he had spammed for quite some time now, 'Soul Contractor'
His talent 'Soul Contractor' was now level 10. (the more the level of talent more the skills but you cannot predict the no. of skills from talent level directly)

Ast had acquired a new talent soul flame. It was both an attack and support skill combined into one. Its uniqueness was the fact that it affects the soul directly. To those whom Ast regards as enemies, their souls would be corroded by the soul flame and those whom he considers as friends would be healed by the Soul Flame.
Ast and Viktor didn't have any idea in which direction to proceed so they simply chose one direction and carried on forwards. From time to time Ast would shapeshift into a snowy owl to scout the nearby region.
While scouting Ast saw a group of 5 people with a small girl roaming the desert not that far from them. Ast was furious when he saw that the girl with these 5 people was Anna, the person he had promised to protect. Ast had to calm himself down because now as things stand even if he kills these people they would simply exit the event simulation but not really die.
Ast conveyed his thought to Luna to come near the group's location. Now as his origin skill 'Faceless' was level 10, he could now not only hide his aura but his face would appear to be a blur to his enemies. Ast again carefully checked that he had nothing on him that could give away his identity.
Ast then attacked the group without any warning and before they could understand what was happening Ast had made a deep cut on all of their ankles. So with a plop, all of them fell to the ground and started groaning from pain.
Ast then took Anna away from the group to have a private conversation with her. This all happened within seconds and before Anna could register what was happening around her she was away from her captors and standing near a huge desert rock.
Then Anna heard a familiar voice "Anna are you alright?" On hearing Ast's concerned voice Anna looked at him and when she saw Ast she suddenly ran towards him and hugged him tightly as if scared that this might be a dream or if she let go of her big brother he would disappear.
Ast has always been kind to kids, although Anna and Ast didn't have that profound a relationship in their tribe they knew about each other and mostly all kids love Ast in their tribe and that includes Anna.
Anna then started crying her eyes out and kept on hugging Ast. She kept on crying and Ast just hold her and comforted her.
"It's all right Anna everything's gonna be fine your brother is here, no one can harm you anymore" hearing Ast's words Anna started crying more and tightened her grip over him. Ast knew that it would take her time to heal. He used his soul flame and enveloped it around Anna.
Anna felt warm and safe inside the flame and as if her worries were slowly melting away. Her crying went on for 15 minutes and then she went asleep, by then Luna and Viktor had arrived and Ast asked Luna to cast her 'Nightmare Trap' on all the 5 men.
Viktor hit hard on their head to make all of them unconscious and then Luna cast her skill 'Nightmare Trap'. Luna's skill could trap someone inside their worst nightmare it was a perfect skill to torture them. Earlier Ast wanted to torture each one of them physically so that their minds would collapse but now with the arrival of Luna Ast had a better way to achieve his goals.
For Luna's skill to work the target should not be much more powerful than Luna and he/she should not have any profound illusion-breaking technique or artefact. The first condition would always be true as long as they stay inside this event as the system had blocked all the powers of the participants.
Also, Luna's skill would require soul power to keep someone trapped but as she was a spirit beast, she could borrow soul power from Ast and that meant that she could keep them trapped for a very long time.
