"When did he get out?" Louis asked Butler Sam.
"How will I know. Shouldn't you be asking the head of security how he got out without anyone noticing?" Sam drew their attention to him.
"I can deal with him later, how about we listen to what he has to say." Austin said drawing their attention to Al who's holding a press conference.
"Mr. Alaric Leblanc. What do you have to say about the video circulating on social media?" A reporter asked.
"What's there to say about it?" Al asked.
"Mr. Leblanc we won't be doing this. You can't be answering the question with another question."
"I don't know what u should say about it. Is it true? Yes it is." Al said smiling to himself.
"Are you saying you are engaged?"
"Yeah, it was a small family gathering. And the wedding will also be same." Al blinked his eyes rapidly.
"We are finding it difficult to believe this story since just two days ago there was a video circulating on social media with you and a chick at a hotel." The reported asked the question as the others began to doubt the credibility of the story.
"Do you mind keeping quite for me to answer the question." Al said coldly and there was silence in the room again.
"The lady you saw me with at a hotel is a nurse who is helping my fiance with some medical report. We were supposed to meet her for dinner but my fiance baled on us that's why I was with her." Al lied so easily.
"That makes a lot of sense. But there is still a bit of doubt in our minds. Would you mind inviting us to the wedding to kill the doubt we still have."
"It's supposed to be a small gathering but since you asked you will get an invitation." Al smiled.
"What about the rest of us reporters? We don't want to miss this great opportunity to bid goodbye to one of our eligible bachelors."
"Am sorry but my fiance and soon to be wife does not like paparazzi. You are going to be there out of my kindness. Don't push it or your invitation will be going to another reporter." Al threatened.
"Okay, Mr. Leblanc."
"We will like to know more about you guys." One reporter asked.
"Am sorry but I came here jut to clarify the rumours. I didn't come here for an interview." Al said coldly.
"Sorry, Mr. Leblanc."
"And just a fair warning. I came out here today cause my fiance doesn't like how you are circulating news about her. Now that everything has been clarified by me I will really love to to hear this issue again." Al concluded and stood up and left the place. He drive to the mansion right after he was done.
"Why didn't you give us a heads up before doing it." Austin asked the moment he entered. Austin stood still, Scarlet was comforting Jules and the three old men where all seated still looking at Al.
"Is there anything wrong with what I did?" Al asked.
"Are you asking?" Louis questioned.
"Yes, I'm asking cause I don't see anything wrong with what I did." Al said.
"It's someone's life and you don't see anything wrong with her spending the rest of her life in a fake relationship." Austin pointed out.
"Yes, I don't see anything wrong with it cause she was he one who said it. All I did was confirm it." Al smiled.
"Are you saying you just wasted someones life because she told a lie to save your ass?" Austin question..
"I didn't waste it. I figured she already loves the idea. Why not help her bring her dreams to pass." Al said.
"You are pathetic." Louis said.
"And a big disappointment. You forgot that part." Al retorted.
"You know you should be thanking for risky my life to spend with this boring lady here." Al said.
"I will be going to my room. You guys should get some rests we have a wedding to plan." Al smiled as he ascended the stairs.
