Okay, let's go then" Al agreed and held her up as they made their way to the summer heat.
"So what have you been up to lately."
"Nothing much just the normal routine," Al replied.
"Anyone special I should know of," Scarlet asked.
"There's no one and there will be no one not today not tomorrow not ever," Al said coldly.
"Don't bring up this topic again, am tired of hearing it from you, Austin, my dad, and Mr. and Mrs. Grey," Al added.
"But as long as you are not listening then I guess we will have to continue."
"You should know not all women are the same." She added.
"Can we drop the topic am not in the mood right now? Am not in the mood." Al requested which caused Scarlet to be silent for a while.
"Just so you know I can't wait to be allowed to organize your wedding," Scarlet said out of the blue.
"Then you will wait for a lifetime," Al smirked.
"We shall see," Scarlet said optimistically.
Al just looked at her and shook his head.
"Have you guys taken the scan yet?" He asked out of the blue.
"Naah. We've decided to surprise ourselves with the gender." Scarlet informed.
"That's nice. But am very positive it will be a boy." Al said.
"Am sure it is a girl," Scarlet said optimistically.
"And I know it's a boy." Al smiled.
"Am the one carrying the baby in my womb and am telling you it's a girl," Scarlet said.
"And am the uncle and I'm telling you it's a boy." Al chuckled.
"Ok, so whether it's a boy or a girl you will be the godfather so prepare to raise a child." Scarlet smiled.
"Am more than ready for this but am sure it's a boy." Al smiled.
"How about we go for a stroll," Scarlet said
"Am tired of sitting already" she added as she lead the way into the garden.
***Quarter pass 4 pm***
"It's quite late don't you think we should head back to see what your husband has done with himself." Al snickered.
"Okay, it's quite late."
She nodded and they made their way back.
"Where did you guys go to. Austin asked the moment they entered.
"We went for a walk," Al answered.
"Supper is ready," Austin announced.
"Okay, babe" Scarlet smiled as they made their way to the dining table.
"Why did you take that long," Austin asked as they sat down.
"We went for a walk. What were you expecting that we do?" Al questioned.
"You should have known that she needs to eat on time. " Austin said as he served his wife.
"Are you done with the papers?" Al asked.
"Yeah. I finished a long time."Austin answered.
"So is there any mistake with it?" Al enquired.
"Naaaa. Everything is perfect. You can sign them. Austin informed.
"Okay, I appreciate it," Al said.
"What are friends for." Austin smiled as they ate their food in silence.
"Can a get a juice please?"Scarlet requested from the maid. The maids are normally not around their house during that time but since Scarlet got pregnant Austin changed the time so that there will be a maid available anytime when his wife needs anything.
"Okay, miss. She replied and made her way to the kitchen. All along Al has been staring at her with lustful eyes.
"Madam, here is it please." The young maid poured a glass for her madam.
"Thank you." Scarlet smiled.
"Welcome madam," she said and made her way to the kitchen.
"Excuse me, am going to the washroom ." Al gave a wolfish grin and made his way out of the place.
