There were incoherent murmurs and gasps, but they died down quickly.
"Then we shall take her back by force." Allen had authority laced in his voice.
"Sooner or later Alpha Allen something might happen." Allen didn't want to believe that the siren just acknowledged his intuition was right.
"Congratulations Alpha Allen, your future is in her hands."
The siren congratulated and swam away along with the rest. Allen carried Valeria again and walked all the way to the bank.
Philomena and Ernouf came to meet them. Philomena took Valeria's right hand and Ernouf did likewise, taking his brother's right hand, they joined them together and Ernouf blessed them.
"Long life."
"And good fortune," Philomena added. After that, they went back to where they stood and another pack's Alpha and Luna did likewise, as what Ernouf and Philomena had done. The four major packs blessed them in place of the other packs.
