"Time to wake up everybody, time to eat!" A small lady with copper red hair and light blue eyes announced to her camp. She waited for a moment and noticed nobody coming out of their tents so she went over to the one closest, which was her own. She unzipped it and ducked inside to see her son curled up on his sleeping bag, fast asleep.
The morning sun shone right in his face but he didn't seem to mind. The woman slowly got to her knees and gently leaned her forehead against his.
"Morning baby," She giggled. The boy slowly opened his eyes and wrapped his thin arms around her, groaning sleepily. "It's time to wake up Bones." She poked at him until he finally sat up. As he began waking up she nudged him more.
"Why don't you go get X and Shiny up." Mama smiled as he nodded and crawled out of the tent. She walked out after him and began going to the farther tent.
In all there were three tents. As Bones went to the one next to theirs, Mama Williams made her way to one that was set a little farther back. First she tapped the tent to shake it a little and heard a faint gasp inside.
"Relax Lasso it's mama, it's time to eat okay?" She gently reassured. "Can you wake up Pippin?" She asked. In case one of them were changing she didn't want to walk in on that.
"Yes.." a man yawned and Mama could hear some moving around.
As she walked back to the fire she watched Bones hurry into the tent next to their's.
"Jesus Christ!-" a deep voice yelled from the tent. Mama Williams just giggled while watching.
"Shiny's up." She chuckled as she watched a tall man with dark skin and short black hair step out he wore grey sweatpants and a white t shirt with a faded pink leather coat.
"Morning mama..." he yawned as he slowly sauntered over to her. Mama Williams had sat down on a log already so he sat on the ground and leaned against her, laying his head in her lap.
Next came from the tent farther back. The man that responded to her earlier had stepped out. He wore dusty leather pants with an old black long sleeve button up. He was fixing his belt that had his two guns on it as he stepped out. His dark eyes kept to the ground as he began to saunter towards the fire.
"Forgetting something!" A woman shouted from inside the tent and he whipped around. He quickly went back to the tent and helped out a woman with a splinted leg and a bandaged covering her left eye. She wore a baggy hoodie and sweatpants while leaving her hair a tangled mess for now. She used her weapon, a spear, as a crutch and the man helped her out.
"Thank you Las, you also forgot your hat and lasso." She motioned back before carefully shuffling towards the fire. While her brother dipped back into their tent she went and sat with Mama and her other brother, Shiny.
"Morning Pippin." Mama Williams smiled as she motioned to the pot on the fire. "There's coffee if you want it, there's also rabbit in the pan." She explained and Pippin grabbed a metal cup out of Mama's backpack. She carefully grabbed the small pot of coffee by the handle and poured some into her cup as she talked to Mama.
The man from earlier came out of his and Pippin's tent. He put on a dusty black cowboy hats and had a lasso that hung on his hip. He slowly walked over and sat with the others.
"Hola mama.." he yawned, sitting on the ground next to her and pushed Shiny off so he could lean against her.
"Ah-" Shiny fell over with ease, looking up confused. He slowly sat up and tried to lean again Mama again but the cowboy just pushed him away.
"Lasso, knock it off." Mama told him while pulling Shiny back towards her so he could lay down as well.
"Vete a la mierda brilla." He growled but Mama nudged him off.
"Get food." She pointed to the bowl filled shredded meat. Lasso sat up and grabbed a few pieces out of the bowl and silently munched on that while Shiny laid his head back in Mama's lap for a few more minutes of sleep.
Finally Bones made his way back out of the tent. He was being followed by a tired looking man with short grey hair and pale skin. Bones tugged him towards the others and he shuffled along behind him.
"Morning Xavier!" Pippin called while taking a few pieces of meat out of the bowl. He waved a little and sat next to her as Bones crouched next to the fire to warm up his hands.
As they're all talking and trying to wake up, Lasso shot up and stared through the trees in the direction of the old street. He slowly got up and began making his way towards the road and Bones followed close behind him.
"What does he hear?" Pippin whispered but Mama shrugged. She could make out some loud talking in the distance once everybody was quiet.
"Oh I know now." She muttered as she watched both Bones and Lasso disappear into the trees.
With a hand on his 9mm Ruger, Lasso silently made his way to the street. He stayed behind a few trees but could still see the commotion. Bones tried to look too was dragged down by Lasso to duck behind a few bushes as one of the men on the street looked their way.
Once the man looked away Lasso yanked Bones closer to him. "Quédate abajo Bones, te verán" Lasso growled before turning his focus back to the people in the street. Bones just stared at him blankly, only understanding his name in the sentence.
There were three people in the street. That's what Lasso could see at least. Two big men, looked to be twins, and one fairly tall woman with coal black hair and pale skin. She wore a black shirt with a long black leather trench coat. Her hair was choppy and uneven, Lasso assume she cut it herself. The woman also wore a large hunting knife on each hip and carried a long metal pole with screws and rusted pieces of metal welded to it. Walking on either side of her were two tall men with brown skin and long black hair in a braid. One was limping badly but oddly seemed in little pain. The other was silently walking with a cigarette in his mouth and a metal baseball bat over his shoulder. Lasso recognized the three of them and had to refrain from shooting them right then and there.
