When Alex woke up the queen breathed on him tickling his scales.
[Good morning, child. Did you sleep well?] She asked.
Alex stretched his body before nodding.
[I did, I can feel my bloodline energy is almost fully recovered.] Alex responded.
She nodded.
[Follow me, it's time for you to meet your brother and 3 sisters.]
Alex nodded, he got up, and to his shock, he found that he had put on 100 pounds growing slightly larger.
[Mother?] Alex asked.
[Hmm? What is it?]
[How did I grow so much? Normally it takes me about 3-4 weeks to grow this much.]
[Ah that, it's simple. You're approaching your first growth spurt, so you may experience some pain from your bones and your size should double over the next 3 years.]
Alex nodded not really surprised, every living being has a period where they go through a growth spurt.
They walked out of the queen's chamber where they walked to another part of the palace.
In there, Alex saw 4 wyverns, one had a more powerful frame with black and gold scales. The other 3 had a much sleeker and curvy frame with black and white scales, obviously, these were his sisters.
[Now, my children, introduce yourselves to your new brother.] The queen said.
3 of them nodded, while the 4th snorted.
[Mother, you adopted a saint dragon? What for?] The brother asked.
Alex stared at this brother of his.
[There's no need to scheme, 1st brother. If you think I'm not worthy of mother's care and have insufficient strength, just be blunt about it.] Alex stated calmly.
His 3 sisters and the dragon queen who was about to scold him were slightly stunned hearing this.
The crown prince snorted. [Alright, so you're not as dense as I thought. Yes, you are weak. Leave.]
Alex shrugged with his wings and turned around seemingly to leave stunning everyone.
However suddenly the sound of flames burning echoed surprising everyone, Alex quickly turned around and a flame ball shout out of his mouth blowing the 1st prince through a wall.
[Out of consideration for mother's kindness, I only used a quarter of my flame's power. Whether that has done anything to you, I don't know nor do I care.] Alex said.
He scoffed lightly, people like the 1st prince pissed him off back on earth, thinking they were so high and mighty.
[You little brat!] The prince shouted over mental communication and shot forward back out of the dust aiming for Alex getting ready to strike with crimson lightning.
The queen snorted and a lightning blast shot out of the horn on her head knocking the 1st prince back again.
[Zeldris! Stop your foolishness at once!] The Queen roared. Obviously, she was furious.
[My child… I'm sorry.] The queen apologized looking at Alex.
Alex simply shook his head.
[It's fine. Though I am curious…]
Alex turned the mental communication to only speak to the queen.
[Did you not give him much attention as a child causing this?]
The queen looked at Alex in slight surprise and she sighed nodding.
[He and his 3rd sister are twins, sharing the same egg. Making twins exhausted my vitality quite a bit so I went into a slumber for a decade. His twin sister was understanding, but seeing how I had pampered his 1st and 2nd sister years in advance he grew jealous… In the end, he went to a human village hearing about how humans scheme to learn from them by observing.]
[Now he's constantly causing trouble. It's all my fault… I thought by punishing him for his schemes he would have gotten better but he only grew worse with the years.]
Alex shook his head [It's fine, you did your best, mother. It's not your fault he grew to be so unfilial…]
The queen couldn't help but have a sweet feeling seeing he called her mother so naturally and how he didn't blame her.
If she had a human form she would be smiling.
[If he gives you trouble, feel free to give him an injury or two in my stead.] She ultimately said and Alex nodded.
They returned to the 'public channel'
[Zeldris, don't cause trouble for…]
[I actually don't have a name.] Alex said seeing she was looking at him for a name.
She once again pitied Alex, however behind that pity anger flashed, the heavens… they will pay for this!
[Then, I'll name you… Zane.] She said.
Alex nodded.
[Zeldris, don't cause trouble for Zane.] She warned sternly.
Zeldris scoffed [As if this trash is wor-]
*BOOM!*
He got a fireball to the face.
[You litt-] he shouted angrily but was interrupted again
*BOOM!* another fireball.
Countless explosions rang out as every time Zeldris fought back, cursed, etc he would get a fireball to the face. The queen watched this in silence, she knew Alex was holding back. A wyvern who hadn't even reached adolescence simply couldn't compete with the baby saint dragon, Zane.
[You little-]
*BOOOM!* This time the explosion was a little bigger, Alex was running out of patience.
This time Zeldris got up but didn't say anything, however just as he was about to snort, he saw the flames gather in Alex's mouth. He immediately stopped. His shiny black scales were now scared and scorched as blood seeped out from places underneath them. He was breathing heavily, exhausted.
[I… I admit defeat.] Zeldris gave up. After that last blast, he knew Alex was holding back the entire time.
[I find that hard to believe, come, let me discipline you in place of royal father to make sure you don't scheme anymore!]
*BOOOM!*
At this point the queen found it hard to look, seeing her child scarred and bloody like this was torture, but she knew it was necessary… Zeldris wouldn't change if this didn't happen.
The 3 sisters just watched this calmly. Though they were actually chatting between themselves.
[1st brother has finally found his match… I'm glad mother isn't interfering. If someone didn't do this Zeldris may try to bite off more than he can chew or bring calamity to our clan.] The oldest amongst them, 1st sister, said.
[Agreed.] 2nd sister said.
4 hours later the beating finally stopped.
[Now, if I even remotely hear of you scheming again, I don't mind going for an even longer discipline session, understand!?!] Alex asked roaring.
[Y-Yes… B-Brother, no wait… Lord!]
Alex snorted.
With that, he turned around and walked towards the 3 sisters, who backed up slightly in fear.
