A/N: Due to me increasing the word count to 1500 per chap I'm going to go to 1 chap a day for a few days while I attempt to stockpile chaps!
Although Zane took her by surprise and she didn't resist, it was still surprising enough to push back a 1st heavenly realm dragon even a back with a single attack.
[Saint dragons are indeed a terrifying species.] A voice rang out in their heads.
[Royal father!] Anne called out in surprise.
Gusts of wind flew as a massive wyvern flew down from the sky, it was the size of a medium building.
Zane bowed respectfully [Greetings, royal father.]
The wyvern king nodded approvingly seeing Zane so respectful.
[Head up kid, you are part of my family now. You don't bow to anyone but your mother.] The wyvern king commanded and Zane nodded.
[Do you mind if I inspect your bloodline kid?] The king asked and Zane hesitated before nodding.
A moment later Zane felt a very invasive presence in his body.
It retracted 5 seconds later.
[Very interesting… your not just any Saint Dragon. You're a Royal Saint Dragon. However your bloodline is being suppressed by some sort of seal, my guess is it has something to deal with why your clan was wiped out.]
Zane nodded respectfully. Alina had told him about the bloodline seal. When he opened his 12th meridian it would naturally disperse. This would cause his strength to rise explosively.
[You're doing great kid, I believe soon enough you will unlock all 36 meridians and begin your rise to the top. I was just popping by. I'm on my way to go collect some herbs from the saint wyvern clan, a distant branch of your clan. I'll see if I can pick up anything of use to you there.] The king said.
Before Zane could respond he took off and was flying into the distance. A few other wyverns flew after him.
Zane decided to spend the day preparing for opening his next meridian, with the wyvern queen's help it was done rather quickly. He began his 2nd tribulation and opened his 2nd meridian, this time though he was injured. It wasn't bad but it wasn't a scrape either.
He spent an hour healing before resting for a couple of hours. Then he began preparing for his 3rd tribulation. He spent 2 days preparing this time and managed to clear it smoothly.
This continued for a few weeks. Finally, he was on his 12th tribulation. If he could clear this tribulation, all the other ones would be easy since his bloodline seal would break.
Zane took a breath. He took several more deep breaths, breathing in and out, relaxing his mind, body, and spirit.
As he did so he channeled the energy from the spiritual herb he just ate to his 12th meridian causing it to light up. Anyone can cultivate so long as they unlock at least 4 meridians, but Zane wouldn't be satisfied with such a low number. He wanted to unlock all 36!
*Rumble!*
3 lightning bolts coalesced into a lightning pillar that slammed down on Zane.
Zane simply grinned at the incoming lightning pillar.
*BOOM!*
It was blasted into bits, his bloodline seal was beginning to loosen.
A 2nd lightning pillar gathered.
*BOOM!*
Zane attacked it before it could descend dispersing the lightning.
*BOOM!* the 3rd lightning pillar was obliterated before it could even form.
The cloud dispersed and Zane's bloodline energy soared to the sky making Anne and Alice have to take many steps back in fear. Many wyverns bowed in submission before this pressure, for a royal saint dragon had been unsealed.
Zane had euphoria wash over him, he felt like a heavy weight had been lifted. He roared to the sky as fire and lightning shot out of his mouth.
*BOOOM!* It exploded in the sky with so much force it created a shock wave that spread for miles.
Zane didn't hesitate to eat another meridian awakening herb and began channeling it to his 13th meridian.
*Rumble!*
*BOOM!* The cloud itself was obliterated instantly.
A new one formed *BOOM!*
Once again the cloud was annihilated.
It was obliterated 3 times. Zane didn't give the clouds any chance to form whatsoever.
Like this, he smoothly cleared all the tribulations over the course of 2 weeks until his 30th one. Even then he still cleared his 30th through 32nd tribulations with light injuries.
With this, Zane could begin cultivating!
It was around this time that the wyvern king returned.
He flew down from the sky right in front of Zane.
This time he was in human form! Any beast can take a human or demi human form from the 1st heavenly realm onward.
The reason the queen didn't take on a human form was that she was still deciding what she wanted to look like. Regardless, Zane was sure she would be beautiful and charming.
The king looked to be in his 40s with a sturdy muscular frame. He pressed a jade against Zane's head, and Zane felt bits of information pour into his head.
"I'm sorry I could find any physical object to help you, but this is your clan's saint dragon scripture, it has been refined, remade, and revised through countless generations. It's been broken down into varying levels so you can smoothly progress leaving behind a very solid foundation. Honestly, if I was a dragon instead of a wyvern, I would have stolen this. So take good care of it kid, once you're ready we can go to the remains of the saint dragon clan and try to see if anything remains."
Just as he said that a new quest was issued.
[New quest: Go to the Saint Dragon Clan ruins]
[Objective: Go to the saint dragon clan ruins, and find the only other survivor.]
[Time limit: 1 week]
[Punishment for failure: 12 out of 36 meridians will be sealed for 100 years.]
[Reward for completion: A eternal friend + Universal Transformation Skill.]
Zane knew the king knew about his rebirth so he responded privately.
[We need to go now, the being who gave me a shot at rebirth says there is another saint dragon survivor somewhere there.]
The king was stunned but he nodded.
"Alright, let's go." The king said aloud and wings sprouted out of his human forms back and shot to the sky, Zane followed leaving behind a message to the queen.
[There is a survivor, were going to retrieve him or her.]
The queen was stunned but watched in silence as he left.
Zane is much faster now than he was in the past so he and the wyvern king reached the Saint Dragon clan's ruins in just an hour.
The reason the hell shock wyverns and saint dragons were so close together was that the hell shock wyverns are subordinate to the saint wyverns that were given space near the saint dragon grounds to help the saint dragons when needed.
Seeing the desolate ground the wyvern king had a heavy expression.
"It's worse than I thought. You weren't kidding when you told me it's like hell manifested on earth."
Zane nodded solemnly.
The wyvern king didn't hesitate to spread his spiritual sense across the entire canyon where the ruins of the saint dragon clan resided.
This was easy for him since he is a 3rd divine realm spiritualist. As for why his wife was so weak compared to him, it's because giving birth to Amelia and Zeldris at the same time drained a lot of her vitality and strength. Not to mention she gave birth to Alice just 5 years prior. She used to actually be at the 7th divine realm, 4 realms above him! As for why she didn't make a human form at that time, she never had a need to.
It was only when she found out Zane was human in his past life that she wanted to make a human form. However, she couldn't because she was in the sky realms slowly recovering her strength.
The wyvern king found an egg that was showing signs of hatching soon.
"Found it! It's a baby getting ready to hatch!"
Zane nodded they flew forward and Zane picked it up.

Zane was elated to see this, this meant he could have a human or demi-human appearance, etc.
Quickly he imagined his past self, then he began altering it to be more handsome and muscular. He then added scales in the right places, and boom, demi dragon form! It didn't look too draconic, he only added scales around his cheekbone area, elbows, forearms, etc. It was a light demi dragon appearance.
He quickly activated it.
The wyvern king was stunned to see this.
"Wow… You look good." The wyvern king said.
Zane smiled.
"This wasn't my real appearance in my past life, I've modified it quite a bit to retain some dragon properties." Zane spoke.
The wyvern king nodded "How did you take on such a form though? Your not even a spiritualist in the 9 earth realms let alone the heavenly realms."
"I think it's an innate skill of mine, I shouldn't have been able to awaken it any time soon. However, the individual who reincarnated me is able to accelerate the awakening of certain innate skills. The reward for saving this dragon was this skill."
The wyvern king frowned, how powerful must such an existence be? It was obviously well beyond the 9 saint realms.
It was probably beyond even the 9 hero realms.
