Arianell and I were going to get out of the mansion and looked for Daniel to kill that incubus.
I stepped on the balcony while her beautiful slim wolf figure followed mine. I signed her to jump from the balcony to the paved small road fit for two cars that led to the front gate.
But before I jumped, she jumped first without any hesitation and surprisingly landed lightly without a heavy loud thump. This meant her supernatural side was so perfect. It could be she inherited it from her mother or it was the effect of the incubus' power left in her supernatural life force.
She looked up at me from below and mockingly waited for me to jump after her.
I drew myself to the back a few steps because after I landed on the ground later, I had to be faster than she was because she'd be needing guidance to past the front gate or if there was another way out that I scanned this morning when I arrived at this mansion.
I jumped, landed lightly on the ground, and signed my head for her to follow without stopping my running. She needed to know the way to get out of the front gate that seemed to be impossible to pass through.
It took quite a while to get to the front gate so I could ask Arianell if she knew a way out other than the front gate with a tall iron fence which might be so scary for her to jump above it,
[Is there any other way than the front gate to get out of this mansion?]
I asked her stupidly though I led the way to the front gate.
I could hear her laughing loudly in my mind and then muttered,
[There's no other way, Akrem. If there's one, then this mansion isn't a safe place to live for the Cranes who are called billionaires.]
There were bubbles of cold air when I sighed showing that the air was so cold tonight. It was because my wolf body was so hot while the night air was so cold. Firmly, I had to tell her that she needed to jump over the tall iron fence of the front gate.
[Then you'd have to jump, Anne. That's what I'm afraid of...]
But before I finished my sentence, she increased the speed of her running because we were about to get to the front gate. Moreover, to my surprise, around thirteen feet away from the gate, she prepared herself and jumped over the tall iron fence which stood around 10 feet high.
I stopped suddenly and gritted my sharp teeth because I couldn't imagine the horror I might be seeing if she couldn't do that. I might regret letting her do that if she didn't succeed. Thank Moon Goddess she landed successfully on the other side of the gate.
I'd like to curse myself because besides being powerful, Arianell still could use her human mind brilliantly as an addition to her wolf instinct. She took the 45 degrees angle of jumping to conquer the tall iron fence. That was the exact point to have the longest, tallest but safest jump at the same time.
[Damn you, woman! How could you be so smart and powerful and it's not 24 hours yet after you were born as a she-wolf?]
I jumped lightly to the other side of the gate. Her beautiful silver wolf waited for me in anticipation with a grin of happiness like she finally could be in the same form as mine.
['Coz I'm your Luna, O mighty alpha.]
Her line was almost mocking accompanied by her other grin.
[Now you lead the way, my beautiful Luna.]
I let her lead the way because I hadn't studied the map to Daniel's office. I didn't know if she knew where to head.
[Do you know where we should find Daniel, Anne?]
I tested the water to see if she had the hunch or if she needed my Alpha's hunch.
[Where do you think he might be, 'Krem? At home, at the office? We could sneak up into his office and find his home address if he's not in the office.]
She was indeed the definition of the brain and beauty. Not to mention her attitude was so elegant. She was perfect. If I could, I'd bring her home right away.
[Then the office, we should head, Anne.]
[Aye! Aye! Alpha Akrem!]
She led me the way to the Police Station, I didn't recognize the streets, the roads, and the buildings. Everything was completely new and foreign to me.
The Imperial Colony City wasn't something like the Green Valley or the Main Land. It was a city a whole lot different from those two. It was like an old city that had a vibe of elegance, royalty, and sophistication.
It had the same vibe as... I looked at the silver wolf that sometimes ran next to me when I forgot that my speed was faster than hers.
This city indeed had the same vibe as hers. She suitably was born here. That made me think if she was ever suitable for my Green Valley.
But I had to set aside that doubt that sometimes popped into my head like this. I already found her, I wasn't going to lose her anymore to an incubus again, like Daniel.
And now it was time to kill that bastard.
We finally arrived at a building with lots of police cars and motorcycles. But I didn't know where to look for this incubus, also because I had never met him so I didn't know what his scent would be. I could only depend on Arianell that her wolf's tracker would work fine just like a mature wolf. She was just born a few hours ago o dearest Moon Goddess, please help us.
Then just like that, she read my mind again,
[He's on the top floor, it's going to be easy for us to get in by jumping to the rooftop]
[Did you just read my mind, Anne?]
[Isn't it obvious, Krem? I'm also an Empath, aren't I?]
[How can you be so sure that he's on the top floor? and I know I could jump on the rooftop, but how about you, Anne? Isn't it too high for you to reach?]
[Really, Krem?! Think out of the box! Shift to your human form and throw me to the roof. I know that your human form is as strong as you can lift 3 tons of weight! And I'm not that heavy! Also, I know he's on the top floor because the archive room and the supernatural division are next to each other. They're on the same floor on the top. The last rooms that people will look into.]
I nodded because her ideas seemed real and possible. But still, I had one more question just to be sure, my curse of being meticulous alpha,
[And how do you know he's there? not somewhere else?]
[Because I CAN SMELL HIS FILTHY PHEROMONES!]
