Iron was questioning my question with a puzzled look saying that I was being absurd like I usually had been.
"Really?! This guy who knew how to make the ancient creature the incubus and a mythical centaur go away had just asked me to bring the whole pack in 16 hours flight. How can you survive this long and you're still being absurd?" Iron tilted his head like he was observing what happened in my head.

"Why, do you think it's impossible?" I asked Iron back.
"Yeah, it's not impossible, but it's ineffective! " he sounded mocking.
"How… "I hadn't finished my line and he cut me.
"Since when you're not believing us the best alpha and beta from Akhmedov and Gursala clan? I might be the beta, but you know I'm an alpha in my own Gursala clan. And as an addition to that, you're my alpha! Which means you're even better than me, a whole lot better actually. Why should we need the rest of the pack? Only two of us can handle the investigation, Krem! We'll work faster because we only need to coordinate for the both of us."
I couldn't be more proud of my Beta. After all, he was the one who taught me to be a great alpha.
"You're right, Iron. Sorry I didn't think that way. Sometimes, you're clever" I winked. He rolled his eyes and my Luna shot her protest.
"Krem? You're sometimes such a pain in the ass. You know that Iron is… "then she stopped when she saw my expression and Iron's that we were about to laugh.
She narrowed her eyes, "Boys …"
I chuckled, "Let us be men, then, Anne. We're going now, we'll be back in the morning."
She was surprised and widened her eyes, "You're not letting me come with you?"
"Can you shift now?" I knew that her shifting was still unstable, maybe she needed more energy from me. I thought that after I found some clues from the north side of the Imperial Colony, I could mate with her and strengthen the bond so she could be a more stable she-wolf.
She tried to concentrate and closed her eyes which actually wouldn't help much. She needed another full moon so she could transform completely. So I said,
"Take your time, 'Anne. No rush. You need another full moon or at least the moon in the night. We're the children of the moon, so we need the moonlight."
She loosened her grip and stopped trying to concentrate. She knew in her heart that it was futile to do that. She opened her eyes and stared at me deeply. She approached me and put her right hand on my chest while rubbing a little.
Honestly, it was like a booty call, or I read her message wrongly. But I was sure from the way she spoke to me. She seduced me.
"Well then, my hero. Find the clues so the poor man can be released from prison. Please come back faster so we can be together longer. I've missed you." She rubbed my chest slowly in a circular motion that I couldn't think but only one thing.
Her message so clearly made me let out more pheromones. When I took a look at Iron, he was rolling his eyes because he could see me gulping that my Adam's apple was moving up and down.
I needed to counterattack, so I grabbed her by her waist to latch her body to mine. I could feel she was shivering from my unexpected sudden move, and then I said,
"You chose the wrong time to seduce an alpha, she-wolf. There'll be consequences after I get home from finding the clues."
Accidentally, I saw Iron's horror expression. He was thinking for a while and finally animated silent laughing. He finally knew I wasn't a virgin anymore.
Then after my line, she kissed me fiercely.

"You bet, Krem. Since we're completely blind here, we don't know the smell of the incubus or Anne's dad, we could use one of their belongings. Did you get a glimpse of scent from the incubus?"
That one question shot by Iron, I knew the answer because I experienced pleasant things when I had to draw the mist of incubus from Anne's body. Though I had to concentrate because before Anne had me, she had to be in a nightmare that we finally could get rid of.
"What do you think, Ron? I had to suck the mist of incubus out of Anne's body. So yeah, I'd know the smell of the incubus if he left a tip of a clue when we go later to the North side of Imperial Colony. But still, we need the scent of Anne's dad that is possible to be found there. I've smelled the scent of the man who's innocent in prison. Anne, could you please give Ron the… "
I hadn't finished my line, but Iron got curious so he asked,
"And how did you do that?" He shot a mischievous smile.
"Which one?" I acted dumb.
"C'mon, Krem. You know what I mean." Now Iron grinned so wide telling me that he wanted to know the details of how I could sense the incubus' mist by drawing it from Anne's body.
