"Hmm, fighting is very troublesome. How about I allow you to strike me 3 times? If you do me any damage, you get the spear or else I will get it" Raizen said.
"What?"
"So much arrogance"
"He is making a fool of himself"
The surrounding players once again started their commentary. They appeared very lively. Many people started recording this conversation.
Crimson King frowned upon hearing Raizen. To underestimate him this much, even if he was level seven now.
'But oddly enough I don't sense any arrogance or superiority in his voice. In fact, I can't sense anything. His voice is just plain' Crimson King thought, his frown deepening.
'Is it a special skill of a class or is this guy an expert who is playing on a low levelled account for some reason?' Crimson King analysed.
Anyway, he had no way to figure out the situation, so he decided to play along.
"Okay, I accept" Crimson King said. He was now very interested in the identity of this player named Zen. He hoped to uncover his identity and if he is really a newbie, try to recruit him.
They moved away from the shops and into a remote area to avoid doing damage and getting arrested by the guards.
Crimson King took out his spear from his inventory and readied his spear. He saw Zen take out an old sword from his inventory.
"Aren't you gonna use a spear?" he asked, puzzled. If that guy didn't even use a spear, Why did he need to fight for that spear?
"Oh, I don't have one" Raizen said without much expression.
'Is he making fun of me?' Crimson King thought.
"Do you want a spear? I want us to go all out" Crimson King said. He had mistaken Raizen's preferred weapon to be a spear.
"Don't worry about it" Raizen said. In his long life, he had used many weapons to near perfection to be called an expert in them.
So he really didn't have any preferred weapon. If he had a preference, he would use his claws rather than weapons.
"Okay here I come, don't give excuses if you lose" Crimson King said as he rushed forward with his spear.
With heavy force, he violently thrust his spear forwards, straight at Raizen's abdomen. Red energy started to gather at the tip of the spear.
But before the spear could move forward further, its trajectory was shifted slightly upwards.
Crimson King saw Raizen effortlessly deflecting the spear's trajectory with his sword.
Crimson King quickly cancelled his skill. Even if he could change the trajectory of skill, he didn't have much hope of hitting the target.
As the spear moved upwards, he changed the grip on the spear's pole and forcefully brought it downward.
Raizen had already predicted it and used a skill named Dash and immediately escaped out of range of the spear.
'He predicts my moves before I even think of them. How did he see through me so easily?' Crimson King thought in confusion.
For the last attack, he had prepared to use a wide area skill. The skill required three seconds of pre-action before it could be executed.
He thought he would easily get those three seconds but now he started having doubts. In his disarray, he lost concentration. Just as he was about to pull himself back and use the third move, a sword was already placed on his neck.
"You lose" Raizen said in the same emotionless voice.
"Bu…" Crimson King wanted to protest. But before he could continue
"I already gave you enough time to execute the third attack. In a battle there is only winning or dying…sometimes may be losing too but no whining" Raizen said without a change in expression.
"Okay" Crimson King said, swallowing back the words he was going to say.
"Then the spear belongs to me" Raizen said as he moved towards the shop. Not much area was damaged in their little fight.
"What the hell just happened?" someone asked in disbelief.
"Did the Crimson King just lose so easily?"
"Who is that guy? So cool"
"He is the reincarnation of the celestial immortal" one of the female players said seriously.
"..."
Immediately everyone distanced themselves a bit from that female player. The female player looked around in confusion.
Raizen suddenly turned back and looked at Crimson King
"Your spear is too forceful and predictive" Raizen said. He turned back and started to walk towards the shop.
Crimson King stood there and looked at the back of Raizen with an odd expression. A memory surfaced from deep within his mind.
"Your spear is too predictive and forceful" Crimson King heard a harsh voice. The owner of the voice had thick red hair and a gigantic body with roaring muscles. His posture was domineering and commanding. The man also had a spear in his hand.
It was Crimson King's father, Crimson Emperor.
'What am I missing?' Crimson King thought hard. Both his father and this mysterious player Zen said the same thing. He pondered the meaning behind their words.
Raizen reached the shop and called out to the shopkeeper again.
"I will take that spear" Raizen said as he handed the elf three gold. The elf didn't say anything and just accepted the money. He gave the spear to Raizen and transferred its ownership to him.
Raizen got the spear and inspected it.

'It's good' Raizen thought after checking its stats.
'But what is hidden in this weapon' he thought intrigued. Surely his sixth sense wouldn't be triggered for this ordinary spear right?
...
"Old friend, to think one day I would meet someone as empty as you" a man muttered. He had white hair, and pointed ears, and wore round glasses and clean clothes.
It was the mysterious elf.
"But he hides it better, Even better than yourself" the elf muttered into the empty air.
"Let me see what path he will take?" the elf said, his mouth forming into a smirk.
