Chapter 19 - The Long Lost Tale ( almost)

Are you ready to see this long lost tale, Lucian asked. I took a deep breath and nodded. He began chanting some words or spells, I couldn't tell because I started feeling sleepy and droopy. Lucian then bumped his forehead on mine and then I blacked out.

I started seeing flashes of people's conversations and battles, I really couldn't understand anything I was seeing but one thing shocked me.

I saw a man with platinum silver hair and grey eyes and then I shot up the bed and I met Lucian's worried eyes and then a splitting headache hit me and I saw black.

When I woke up, Lucian gave me something to eat and I also saw Damian looking at me and I looked away. I was still very mad at him for how he treated me.

Lucian told me to rest because they were travelling to the next town tomorrow and I realized I had totally abandoned my mission to meet Elder Athena's friend but I decided to stick with the vampire group because there was a mad king who is somehow related to me going on a killing spree, my aunt Ophelia and her family will probably be looking for me and the vampires have been treating me well.

I then asked Lucian what happened to me, he said he was quiet shocked I saw a little of the past because no one has and that King Balthazar blocked me from seeing the vision.

Is he Niverllian, I asked. Yes, Lucian answered. But I didn't know Niverllians could do that, I said. Balthazar is an exception and that's a story for another day, Lucian replied and then walked away.

I watched him leave and my gaze met Damian's eyes and I looked away and was about to sleep when I heard his deep voice.

I'm sorry for how I spoke to you today, I should have thanked you instead of yelling, it's just that I prioritize my men's life, I am really grateful for what you did, thank you, Damian said and then he left before I could reply.

Damian actually spoke up to 5 sentences to me, I was shocked but I didn't want to forgive him so easily, he had embarrassed me infront of the entire camp so I wasn't going to let him off easily.

And as my mind started replaying all the crazy things that had happened to me I slept off.
