My train of thoughts were distracted when Damian soldiers came back and told him they had found a place to set our tents and it was a ten minutes ride from here.
I dreaded getting on a horse again but I had no choice. We finally got to the site and I was awestruck, the camp site Damian's men had chosen was beautiful, they surely had good eyes.
The site was by a lake it was so still and the moon reflected on it, it was so mesmerizing and I wanted to bathe in it, but decided too when all the other soldiers were asleep, I don't know why but I was so drawn to the lake, I continued staring at it and found myself walking towards it but then Lucian stopped me and said, it was too dangerous to swim there especially at night, the water is so still you don't know what's in it, he said.
I followed Lucian to the tent but I still looked back at the lake it was just so enchanting, I went into my tent and realized I would be sharing it would Damian but on separate beds that were far apart.
I really wanted to go to the maids tent but I knew it would be too cramped for them if I joined them, I and Damian had to share the same tent because the site they found was too small to mount all the tents.
I looked at Damian who was sitting on his bed and he was staring back at me, I smiled at him and he just nodded at me, classic Damian always mute. I wanted to say something but he turned to lay on his bed and I slowly closed my mouth and went to my bed as I laid down on my bed I couldn't sleep for some reason, I continued tossing and turning.
I had alot of questions to ask like why were Damian and Lucian so nice to me, why were they helping me, I was so confused. Did I have something they wanted but what did I have that anyone would want. Then the grey eyed man's face popped in my head.
Who was he and why did he look so much like me, I had alot of questions to ask but I didn't have the chance to. I decided to ask all my questions the next day.
Then Damian spoke up, get some rest, you can ask all your questions tomorrow, he said . I thought he was already asleep.
