Armin abruptly twisted his body and turned his head in the opposite direction. He then propelled himself off the tree by twisting his hip and stepping between Nicolas's legs.
He then jumped on Sharon and smacked her with his shield, which caused the girl to rise from the ground and fall back to the ground.
Armin went down on his knees for a moment to perform a short spin, and then he turned around to face Nicolas, who was looking at him.
He was no longer smiling, and his face gave off the impression of being fairly pale in contrast to the vibrant colors of the flames that were lighting up the ground and the environment.
It demonstrated the intensity with which Nicolas was looking at Armin as well as the pallor that was spreading across his face, which was comparable to that of Sharon's hair.
Opening his mouth as he frowned, Nicolas said, "I am impressed. This is more difficult than I thought it would be."
Nicolas held his bow as if it were a back, and balancing one of the ends on the ground and the grass, he continued saying, "Twice in the same day, I am forced to fight hand to hand and use all my tricks."
Gritting one's teeth, Nicolas brandished his bow like a sword and swung it about. Nicolas drew a blue line that rapidly turned into a flame that fell at Armin's feet, and as he started to run, he passed his arc over his shoulder so that it covered his heart. Armin watched as Nicolas drew the flame.
Shane continued to fire from a safe distance. Armin was placed in the center of a small quadrangle that was formed as a result of his bullets ricocheting off the trees and creating V-shaped arcs.
Sharon was lying on the ground struggling for oxygen, while Nicolas was running in circles around the trees.
Armin lifted his shield and watched as Nicolas went around him until he suddenly stopped, jumped up, and sprinted towards him while throwing himself with his arm outstretched. Armin then threw himself at Nicolas with his arm extended.
Armin took a little step back, but Nicolas's hand was already aiming toward the smoldering ember that had fallen to the ground at his feet.
Nicolas held the flame with the tips of two fingers, and a bluish-white glow emanated from the tips of his fingers and fell onto the hand that was not holding the flame.
Nicolas executed a rotation in the vertical plane and then used the flame to trace an arc that traversed his entire body.
He flicked his wrist, and the blue flame produced a sharp whipping motion as it moved toward Armin. He was staring at Armin.
Armin was able to deflect some of the punch by quickly raising his arm and parrying it.
However, he was unable to see how Nicolas had gotten up and started throwing rapid punches into the air, which hit Armin on the side and caused him to tumble against the tree.
Nicolas glanced at Armin as he fell to the ground and moved the direction of his shield to point at him as he did so. At the same time, he reached down to pick up more flame.
Nicolas drew a grin on his face as he brought out a small flame that was beginning to build a small ball between his hands.
Taking a step towards Armin, Nicolas began to breathe more calmly. With the air in his lungs almost exhausted, Nicolas thought, "Keep stopping everything. I'm sure you won't take much more goody boy."
From the ground and in the middle of a gasp, which caused his body to be in the middle of a painful grunt. Armin was able to thrust his spear right through the middle of the crescent-shaped cut on his shield.
The cut in the shield lighted up with a bright red light when it was struck by the spear, and the light was encircled by a bluish flash.
Armin fired a spiral of red flames directly at Nicolas's face as he was on the ground, and it was difficult for him to thrust his shoulder forward.
Nicolas crouched down and let go of the small blue ball of fire as his eyes widened to the size of saucers. As soon as Nicolas could feel anything, he was flung to the ground, and the first thing he felt was a strike to his side.
Armin had already stood up by the time the spear entered the coil. Armin, who was still holding the spear by its lower half, took a stride, which caused the spear to swing horizontally, and with this, he hit the side of Nicolas, who was now squatted, and Nicolas groined and fell to the ground. Armin continued to hold the spear by its lower half.
With legs that were shaking. Armin began to approach Nicolas while simultaneously aiming the tip of his spear at him.
"The fight is over, Nicolas," Armin's voice came out with difficulty, between grunts and gasps of pain.
Armin was so out of breath that he was laboriously panting, and he was unable to hear Sharon getting up behind him.
Sharon inhaled deeply before covering her face with her hands and taking another long breath. Her eyes went absolutely white, and her mouth parted more than usual, betraying an expression of both shock and agony on her face.
Sharon let out a scream while her mouth was gaping open in an unnatural manner.
A scream that was so loud that it reverberated throughout the entire forest, blending in with the other roars and cries that were coming from the beast.
