I jumped out of bed when I heard my intoxicated sister on the call "I will fuck myself tonight, and you won't be able to stop it."
"Where are you? Tell me. I am coming right now. Are you listening? Hello".
"Are you happy now? He left me. HE LEFT ME. Yuhuuu— "
"Susan, Susan. Where—"
"I am Carl from the Casino, Heaven On Earth. If you know this girl with pink hair, then inform her family or someone else to pay for our damages and take this underaged demon off our Heaven?" The harsh voice bashed straight into my middle ear.
"Yes, Take care of her. I am on my way. Can you--''
Before I could utter another word the person on the other side hung up the phone. Without wasting a second I got myself an Uber to reach there faster. A muscular Goliath was standing for an ID check, he was wearing black RayBan glasses at night. "Strange".
As I got in I took a deep breath and felt a smooth tinge of fragrance stirring into my sinus. It was fresh, But then a half-naked girl tossed the glitter on me which fetched me back to the actuality of that place.
"Look at this, flooding lights, drunk people, naked girls, and loud music. I wonder what makes this place heaven?"
"Where are you, Susan?" I murmured to myself.
The music was blowing people's brains off and they were hauling around. It was 2:30 in the morning. I went to the bar side across the dancing floor and asked the person in a black suit "Hey, you know Carl, He knows about my sister." as I was talking a blonde disguising herself as the angel walked close to me and placed both her hands on my breasts. I quickly moved to the other side but she kept on following my steps until she heard " Move". It was the barkeep, tailored suit, grey eyes, expressionless face, hair scoured perfectly, helping nature I guess, and had a drink in his hand. She quickly withdrew.
"I think she finds you pretty" The barkeep continued as he gave the drink in his hand to a man waiting on the counter.
"You bet." I humorlessly gave him a fake laugh and looked around the Casino.
"I DO BET."
"Oh, what did you say?" I couldn't clearly understand what he said but he glimpsed alluring and flawless at the same time.
"You said something before."
"Yeah. Can you tell me about Carl? He has my sister."
"Fuck, that demon with pink hairs." The person next to me who was just served by the barkeep voiced.
"Yes, But her name is Susan," I said with a solemn voice.
"Go to the 2nd floor in the retaining area. But I am afraid you are poorly dressed for that." He said recklessly and continued with his drink.
"Like I came here to party." I turned my head a few directions and strode toward the elevator. But the woman in a suit came as a hurdle, "Who do you think you are to wear these pajamas to our heaven?"
"Or what? Do I need to die to come to this heaven then? Are you in your senses? Okay, then you go and get Susan here? And the next moment I am GONE. OKAY." I reasoned with the woman at the front but she didn't seem like an easy task.
"This is not my call. You are free to pick your ways of entering that heaven Miss. But this is my job I can't let you go like that.''
"Wait, Look at these girls on poles, naked, have threads barely hanging on their bodies. But a girl in her pajamas bothers you right?" I implied toward the pole dancers hanging all over the poles and doing aerobics.
"Yes, because they are to delight people, it's what they do. This is a Casino, not your bedroom." The woman in front rolled her eyes at me.
"What you want like I should remove my pajamas and go in panties upstairs? Then you will allow that, yeah?" I clapped just near to her face twice. Dam bitch you don't roll eyes at me.
"I am afraid you will have to lose more than panties here Miss." The piercing tone of someone from behind sounded familiar. That voice made the woman in front straighten her back.
"Like what?" I turned to find a man in the suit with a batch hanging on his chest, Carl Oliver.
"Your wallet."
"Wallet, what for. Carl Oliver?" I leaned near to his batch and knowingly twisted my tongue and mentioned his name. But I was genuinely concerned more than ever because my wallet doesn't match my attitude and I knew that.
"For the damages that pink hair demon caused our heaven."
"Why would I pay?"
"Pay 5000$ on the 2nd floor to the retaining area and take that demon home." Carl briefed and continued scrolling on his phone.
My jaw dropped and I froze at the scene but being poor my whole life taught me one forte and that was to argue "OH I see how you afford to have such a luxurious place. You, trap people. Make them pay for the things they haven't done. SEE I know how it works. Now get my sister here and I will leave."
"You said trap? Really? Good. You are trapped then. Pay or we take your sister, make that drunk demon pay our money off her body." Carl might have been offended by my play-by-play because now he wasn't interested in his screen anymore.
"I will call the police. Get my sister here. Or I will." I ran toward the elevator but the guard blocked me from taking a step further. My breath faded for a couple of seconds. But my neurons knew that "I messed with the wrong people, and damn I should have pleaded instead of arguing from the start."
I had both hands stamped on my cheeks, eyes tightly closed, and thought to myself "Pleading and crying always works, shit. How can you forget that Stella?"
He got close and stated "What, I can call the police. Because throwing drinks on our VIPs, abusing staff, and breaking several expensive glasses is nothing. Let's see how this turns out for you."
I gazed up at Carl's face and slowly put my hand in my pajama pocket. But didn't take it out for a few seconds.
Carl had his eyes focused on me, standing calm because his words were enough to torture me. "I can sell her kidney and get my money. OR YOU PAY. Pick one." He yelled in a low voice.
I panicked and had my hand in the air "Here it is. Here." I pulled 10 bucks out of my pocket and dropped it on the floor. Carl tensed his facial muscles a bit but before he could take another action his phone rang. He took the call and turned to the other side.
I didn't pick the 10 bucks and stared at Carl back. I tried to eavesdrop but all I could hear was "Yes, Okay. Sure." He turned at his one foot and changed into a completely different person " You can leave now, your sister will be out at the back door and our car shall escort you to your house. Please this way". He held his hand toward the exit.
"You're sure, I mean.... I- - get to leave, do you have bipolar?". Bending myself I slowly picked up my 10 bucks and shoved them into my pocket asap. They all saw it and I knew that being poor has its perks " You can do whatever you think is best, no matter what happens, YOU DON'T lose A SINGLE PENNY."
"I am fine. Thank you for asking Madam." What, Madam when did that happen?". I followed him to the exit where I saw Susan in the back of a black SUV, I took a step but Carl held the car door open for me. I sat in but His synthetic fake smile was not a normal sign and this free car ride, "What is it?" I asked.
"Oh, Madam you will pay." Saying this his smile faded and he closed the door after me.
------------------------------------------
What was that? I WANTED THAT NIGHT TO END, but was that end? OR a new start?. I looked out through the window and it was my location. I gazed up to the driver's face and inquired "How did you know?"
"We know everything, Madam." He didn't bother looking my way.
I smelled a threat and quickly dragged Susan out of the car and asked the driver to leave. What are these people? Will they come for money? Did they mention selling organs? Did they? Oh no Stella you have gone crazy. Why me? always me.
