Prince Kai saw Doris' reaction. He wasn't able to fathom her character whether she was happy or not, not until he saw tears dropping her eyes. The other Maidens kept saying despicable word to her. Prince Kai walked up to her and held her hands.
"Stop crying" He said as he palm gently touched her skin, wiping her tears away.
Doris stared at him with her protruding eyes. Her eyes stared intensely into his eyes. She doesn't just know what to do.
"Let's go outside" He held her hands
"No, I want to go home" She said as she ran out of the hall. Prince Kai just stared at her as she ran away from his sight.
The hungry sound came louder this time, and he needs to feed himself. Prince Kai left the hall and went to the balcony at the end of the castle, which is near to the entrance gate of the castle. Doris walked out of the gigantic compound when she realized that her jewelry had fallen. Doris searched around but couldn't find it. She entered the gate, telling the gate man that she forgot something. Passing by, she heard some noise. Someone was in pain. She walked in to a small passage and to her utmost surprise she saw the Prince draining blood from a young Maiden. She could see his fangs and his ocean blue eyes were red like fire. He looked scary because blood was over his face and mouth. Two other girls were in the floor. He had drained their blood.
"Oh no, you are a blood sucking VAMPIRE!!!!?" Doris yelled as she fell on the floor. Her body was cold, and she could hardly breathe. Her father was a Laurent Vampire, but he never sucked blood.
" All vampires are a blood sucking creature." He said in a hoarse voice. His voice was cold and hard. His voice sent chills in Doris spine.
"No… My dad is a Laurent, and he doesn't suck blood like you!!!!!!" Doris defended her father, even if she was damn scared of what might happen next.
"Be it Laurent, Aro or whatever Vampire he might be, all Vampires feed on blood to survive." He said in a husky voice, trying to keep his cool.
"Why did you come back? I thought you've left already" He said as he stared at the three girls lying unconscious on the floor
Doris just stared at him. She wouldn't dare talk before she would join the other girls unconscious. Her mother won't be happy. She had to go!!!!!
"Did you come back to tell me that you will marry me?" Prince Kai smirked.
Doris eyes widened. There's no way that would get married to a blood sucker. NO WAY!!
"I won't ever bite you. You are my soon-to-be wife" He said as he walked close to her. Doris kept in beating fast.
"Stay Away. I'm not getting married to you. I can't marry a blood sucker like you" Doris said as she took her heels. She didn't know where the strength came from, but all she knew was that she had to leave the palace as fast as she could.
Prince Kai men appeared in front of him.
"What's wrong, Your Highness?" Leon said. Leon is the most skilled sword man among the other knights of the prince. Prince Kai also trusted him the most among the other men.
"I WANT HER" Prince Kai said as his eyes glinted a murderous Light.
"Who?" Gideon asked
"The girl I chose to be my bride. I want her at all cost. I can't just let my prey go. Find more about her" Prince Kai said as he leapt away.
"I guess we need to find more about her soon" Leon said as he faced the others
"Yeah, You leave it on us" Lucas said as his eyes were on Gideon
"Sure" Gideon replied
"Okay" Leon said and leapt away.
