Leticia and Doris left the castle after the conversation between Kai and Doris ended. They were driven back to their home.
"How was your conversation with the Prince?" Her mother asked
"Good" She replied and she yearned widely
"I want to go and sleep Mom" She said lazily.
"Okay. You have to wake up early tomorrow dear. We are going to the castle tomorrow for the preparation of your wedding" Leticia said.
"No problem Mom. I'm tired" Doris yearned again and left to her room.
The night was away and morning came again.
Doris took her bath and she wore one of the clothes the Prince bought for her. Her mom had threw all her old wears away replacing them with the ones that Prince bought.
She went outside the house waiting for her mom to come out soon.
"And where the fuck are going with these dress?" Betty hollered. She wasn't alone this time around, she came with some girls.
"Where they going to beat her up? They wouldn't dare!!" Doris purple eyes glinted with anger as she could no longer keep her calm.
"And who the fuck are you to ask me where am going to?" Doris said aggressively
"(Smirked) is it because you are getting married to thee Prince that why you have the right to talk back at us?" One of the girls said.
"Haha, not just that, I will soon be the Princess of this land. You all should better warn yourself while I'm still playing nice" Doris thundered.
"Should we get scared? Your marriage won't last. it's better if you just call that marriage off" Betty hollered
"(Mimicks) it's better if you just call this marriage off. And why would I? " Doris asked proudly. This girls were really forcing her to show her bad side.
"You are so useless. I wonder what made the Prince picked you" A girl said
"Shut it y'all. How dare you talk to our Princess like that" Lucas said In a hoarse voice.
"On your knees" Gideon drew out his sword. The girl fell on their knees shaking. Doris never expected this. No one cared about her being insulted except from her mom. She couldn't help but smile in pain.
"It's Okay. Let them be. I'm used to their bullying already" Doris begged in their behalf. Betty's glanced towards Doris and she couldn't help laugh out loud.
"Are you already playing the role of a princess when you haven't become one" Betty smirked
"I've not become one yet but I really pity you when I become a princess, but for your info I wouldn't be that bad...do you know why? Because I don't want to like a monster like you. I would pay my attention to someone reasonable or plan way to seduce my husband rather than to mind your existence" Doris smiled devilish and she grinned.
Leticia came out of their house and they bothmade their way to the carriage. They left for the castle.

"You are finally here" Kai welcomed them as he noticed their presence.
"Good day" Leticia greeted formally.
Doris didn't know how to greet him, she just smiled humbly. Kai smiled back. There was something hidden about his smile. Whenever he smiled her heart always race. His eyes and smile were her weakness.
Everybody seems busy and it looked like the preparation is already taking place. There was a golden royal robe that was hung on a hanger. Doris couldn't help but admire it. Who's that dress for? She asked her inner mind.
"Do u like it? It's your wedding dress" Kai whispered in her ear.
Doris shivered and she couldn't keep her balance. She wanted to fall but Kai's strong arm were around her waist preventing her from falling.
"Oh, it's beautiful" Doris said genuinely.
"Nothing is as beautiful as you Milady" Kai gestured with a smile.
"Thanks" I couldn't help but blush shyly.
"See you later. I need to do something" Kai said and left. He didn't wait for her reply.
Doris glanced towards Lucas, Gideon and Leon and she decided to go chat with them. Her mom was busy helping the maids.
"Hey" Doris greeted as she walked towards them.
"Your Highness" Leon greeted.
"Hi. What's ur name?" She asked
"Leon Your Highness" He bowed
"Nice meeting you" She smiled. I think all Vampires was really blessed with beauty. He had the same color of her eyes. His eyeballs were also purple like hers.
Doris smiled towards Lucas and Gideon who seems to be focused playing game. Leon only watched them as they played. Leon's gaze was always serious and stern.
"Would you like to join us?" Gideon asked
"Yes" She said loudly with excitement even before Leon could protest. They played scrabble and Doris seem to winning. This was her best game when her dad was still alive. Her father had thought her the game since it was the cheapest he could buy.
"You are pretty amazing Princess" Leon smiled warmly. Gideon and Lucas glanced towards him. This rude guy hardly get impressed. I guess the Princess has a huge effects on him.
"That's right" Lucas supported. Doris laughed. She has never felt at home with people. These guys made her feel as if they were families.
"You seem to be enjoying with them" Kai said. Five men seems to be following him behind.
"Yes" She simply said
"Um, I brought this men here because I want you to choose two guards who would be protecting from one on" Kai introduced.
"This is levy, Jace, Gion and Michael" He introduced them one after the other.
"And I'm sure you know Lucas and Gideon" He added as he pointed towards them.
"Who would you like?" He asked.
"I'm comfortable with Lucas and Gideon" Doris said and she glanced towards them to see their expression. They both looked happy and they bowed towards her happily. Doris smiled and she told them to be free with her.
Kai felt a little jealous. Those jerks had started her heart even before him.
" No problem" Kai forced out. He kept on staring at them and he saw that they were truly happy serving her than him.

Jokingly, three days has passed by and the day of her wedding was finally here. Her new home wasn't far from the palace and Lucas and Gideon were guarding outside her house. She had told them to stay home and feel at home but they refuse that it was their duty to protect her. The wedding was taking place in the mid night because most vampires can move during day. Some do move during the day because of a magic cloak distributed in the neighborhood. This cloak were made by witches. She was used sleeping during the day and awake in the night. For her not to sleep during her wedding, She decided to sleep as she want during day time.
