"Let me think a little bit about it," she said getting up and heading to her office, she had two minutes before the couples arrived and she wanted them to at least meet her in the office.
As a knock was planted on her door, she had finished tidying up her office.
"Coming in," she responded and the two of them walked in.
Looking at Melissa, she looked nicer than yesterday making her look a bit younger.
"Good morning," she greeted with a smile and they both returned the greetings with the same smile.
"Welcome and have your seats," she ushered them.
"Before all this happened, what made you fall in love with her in the first place?" Annie asked after checking up on their night.
"She was beautiful, she was sexy, she was always there, she supported me, she cared," he explained and many other things that I can't list all of them.
"Has all that changed?"
"Yes,"
"Wow, I was beautiful and sexy and you still expect me to be the same way after four kids? I still support you,"
"How? Melissa you are always busy that we don't have time together anymore,"
"Do you know what I'm always busy doing? Take care of the home, take care of your children, make sure you don't starve yourself to death. I put everything about myself on hold just to make sure your kids are fine and what do I get in return?"
Annie was just staring at them as they argued.
"Both of you should come down, I have a suggestion. Why don't you get some help for you to have some rest? You need it you know that?"
"Help, for him to sleep with her? It's enough for him to go outside but in my house, that was the height of it, I can't take more of that. He made the house help disrespect me and did nothing," she yelled and at some point she understood her.
She too didn't think she can take disrespect from anyone.
"It was a moment of weakness and I apologized but she has never given me an opportunity to explain,"
"To explain what Derrick? You sleeping with her or how the experience was? Which of the two Derrick?"
"After my last daughter, it wasn't the same as others. He was the one supposed to be there for me but no he was having a good with sexy women. It took me two months to heal but he is not aware. He lied to me he was going for a business meeting and his son got sick. It was in the middle of the night, I was not strong, I called him seven times and when finally the phone is picked it's a woman's voice,"
Flashback...
"I'm sorry for calling at this time but Gael is sick," she rushed her words.
"And so, is Derrick a doctor? Take whoever is sick to the hospital and allow us enjoy the night in peace," a woman's voice said and she felt like disappearing.
End of flashback.
"It has been two and a half years, you have never been interested to know what happened that night neither do you know that your son is anaemic,"
"When we got married I told you I wanted two kids that way I could be able to balance family and my career. You told me to quit my job and you will provide for the family that you wanted four kids. If possible two boys and two girls would be better. I left my job, travelled down to this place just to be with you. I gave your four kids, two boys and two girls. I gave up everything Derrick, I cut off ties with my family Derrick because they never liked you but still choose you over them, then what?"
Annie handed her a packet of serviettes to help her with the tears.
"I didn't know you called that night, I'm sorry,"
"How were you supposed to know? You were enjoying the night right? You know what, I'm done here. I can't do this anymore and all I want is a divorce. I have changed my mind, I'm going with all my children you can continue enjoying your life,"
Melissa got up and walked out in tears as Annie called Mira who picked immediately.
"Once she gets there, give her a big hug for me and tell her she is a strong woman and I love her before she leaves," she instructed Mira.
"I'll do that,"
"Thank you," she appreciated and hanged up.
"You know you are selfish right?" She turned to Derrick and told him.
"I know, you can give me any tag I won't blame you. Just help me talk to my wife to give me a second chance to rectify my mistakes, please,"
"Do you have another child out there?"
"No, I have never impregnated another woman. I always use protection,"
"And your house help?"
"I used one to, she seduced me it was a moment of weakness,"
"Can you give me Melissa's number?"
She handed him a book and he wrote it inside.
"Let's meet tomorrow at eleven,"
"Ok, thank you," he appreciated and walked out.
Annie sat back on the chair and closed her eyes, she still had her problems to think about.
"You said the money is for one session?" Annie asked again as they sat to eat the lunch Mira brought and she nodded as she had food in her mouth.
"Then I think we should accept it then after the first session we can decide where to continue or stop what do you think?"
"Good idea," Mira agreed and after the meal she sent Mira her salary, paid the rent and went to take her car from the mechanic then went home to have a good night rest to avoid getting to the office late.
Sitting in her office she was expecting someone maybe old, with so many problems to walk into her office but surprising a young, handsome guy whose appearance screamed wealth walked inside and took a seat without uttering a word.
"Good morning, are we waiting for someone else?" She asked after recovering from the shock.
"Are you waiting for someone else?" He asked back in a low, calm, masculine voice.
"My name is Anita, but people prefer to call me Annie, I guarantee you hundred and ten percent secrecy in everything we talk about in this room," she introduced herself.
"Aiden Malcolm," was all he said then looked around the room.
It was just a small room but well arranged, three seats, a small table with a laptop on it, with a book and a pen beside it. At the corner behind her was a table with few files on it and behind him was a small bed. It wasn't even half of what he had at home.
"Nice to meet you, from the information I have, you are suffering from the side effects of trauma and if you ask me that information is not enough for me to understand. What's the problem?"
He looked at her battling within himself on whether to tell her or not.
"Are you sure you can help me?" He asked.
"I can't give my word before knowing what I'm getting myself into," she responded.
"I don't experience an erection," he said after a while and she felt like a bomb had just dropped in her stomach.
What was she supposed to do? Maybe Isa was right, if only she had stopped this career long ago, she won't be in the mess but what of the money he was offering?
She didn't think it would hurt giving it a try, it would be a good challenge for her.
"Since you were a child?" She asked.
"No, the last time I experienced one was when I was fifteen. Will you help?"
"I'll try?"
"If it doesn't work out you refund my money,"
"We don't do a refund,"
"We go to hospital and you carry a baby for me or I sue you,"
"If it works out, I be the first woman you sleep with?" She spoke before she could stop herself and he turned to face the bed.
"I guess that's what you use the bed for?" He arched his brows.
"Don't be full of yourself, you should be thankful I'm trading with my virginity,"
"Deal then," he stretched his hand for a greeting and she didn't know if she should accept or not.
