"Can we go on?" Annie asked Melissa calmly.
Since they arrived she hadn't uttered a word and only stared into space like she was thinking of something really important or she is having a fight in her mind between two thoughts.
"Sweetheart," Derrick called out and Melissa turned to face him then chuckled.
"Who is your sweetheart? I look like any of your mistresses?"
Derrick sighed.
"Do you have something else disturbing you? You can say it now," Annie suggested.
"Work, I need to go to work today before I get fired,"
"Ok, where do you work?"
"As a waitress in a restaurant,"
"Why?" Derrick asked shocked, this is the first time he is hearing this. His wife working as a waitress in restaurant and she laughed.
"Because you bought food, paid for their tuition, paid the electricity bills, water bills and buy clothes for the kids, it was all they needed?"
"Was I supposed to pluck money from a tree and be buying drugs for Gael? Was I supposed to steal somewhere to buy my personal things? What about there lunch money?" She raised her brows.
Today she was calm, no tears, no yelling just composed.
"I fulfilled my duty of coming here but to be honest, I left this so called marriage long ago,"
She turned to Annie.
"Thank you so much for your time and listening to me. I feel a lesser burden now and about the money refund don't worry, I have my savings, I'll return his money. Thank you," she got up with her bag.
"Before you go, can I talk to you privately," Annie suggested.
Derrick got up and walked out as she sat back.
"Do you still live him?" Annie asked.
"I don't think so after everything I have gone through because of him, I can't still be loving him,"
"For your kids please give yourselves a second chance,"
"He hasn't been in their lives for a while now so no difference,"
"What's your plan?"
"To go back home with my kids and start over. I'll stay at my sister's house because she is out of the country for now. I talked to her, I want to find myself,"
"I have a suggestion why don't you give yourself a break not a divorce he works on himself, you work on yourself then after one month we come back and see what happens. If your mind is still made up, I promise not to interfere please,"
"Why are you so adamant about this?"
"My mom left when I was young with my brother and I was left with my dad who left me to because he couldn't raise a child alone. I understand the pain of being alone,"
"Ok, I'll try, we will keep in touch,"
"I have your contact, you'll have mine then we will talk,"
"Ok thank you for listening to me, I was losing my mind with everything,"

"You came with him?"
"I know my way, we just agreed to meet at the junction,"
"You still stay in his house?"
"Yes, he stays with his friend,"
"You are strong woman,"
"Thank you, I'll get going, I'll have to reach at work before I get to work," she got up and picked her handbag.
"Thank you for coming,"
She nodded and walked out.
Annie sighed as she waited for Derrick to come in, as she thought of what happened earlier, Pablo didn't even give her a listening ear he just left her there like she is nolonger valuable to him.
Derrick walks in and pulls a seat for himself.
"Did she agree to give me a second chance?" Derrick asked.
"Did she talk to you while leaving?"
"You can go in, that's all she said. Give her space one month, allow her get herself back then work on yourself. After one month we can go on with the sessions to know if you guys are still married,"
"Is she going to sign the papers?"
"For now no. You promised to change, start proving it,"
"My kids?"
"You can arrange with her, because she is leaving tomorrow morning,"
"I tried my best and that is what she accepted for now,"
"I understand thank you so much. I'll get going,"
"Welcome, I have another session in thirty minutes,"
"Ok, I'll send your balance once I get home,"
"Ok thank you once again and I wish you guys all the best,"
Derrick walks out and she is left to face the greatest mountain in her life. She takes her phone and calls Mira in and Mira walks in smiling.
"Girl you are getting rich, you know when I started working for you, I never thought you could grow like this. Like you were charging very little and I was like will this girl ever make a living out of this, but you have proven me otherwise," Mira smiled and all she did was stare.
She was talking too much without even waiting to know why she (Annie) called her.
"What happened?" Annie asked after a few minutes.
"The guy has sent today's payment, $5000, you told me to ask him to reduce the price and he reduced to that,"
"Ok, has he arrived?"
"He will be here anytime soon from what I saw yesterday, he keeps time," Annie nodded and changed her mind.
She may be wanting to talk to Mira but that would mean explaining everything to her something she didn't want.
"I'll increase your salary as of next month,"
"You should start by buying a car, that old box doesn't look like you,"
"I'll think about it,"
"Then buy a house stop staying in that small apartment,"
Their conversation was interrupted by the door opening and they both faced the door as Aiden walked in.
"We will talk later," Mira said and walked out as he took his seat.
Alex walked into his room with two glasses of wine and handed one to Olga, his girlfriend. When he got a call from her that they had to talk urgently, this was the only private place he could think of as only his sister was around at this time.
"What do you want to talk about?" He asked sitting beside her on the bed.
"I went to the hospital yesterday,"
"You didn't tell me you were sick,"
"I thought it wasn't serious but yesterday it got worse and I went to hospital. The doctor said I'm three weeks pregnant," she announced and before he could say anything the door opened and his mom walked in all smiles.
"What did you say?" She asked to be sure she heard correctly but Olga wasn't sure if she should repeat it to her or not.
Emelda just arrived and after checking on her daughter she walked to Alex's room to check on him. As she was about to open the door she heard Olga say she was pregnant and that made her smile.
Since Aiden doesn't want anybody to talk about marriage to him all she needed now was the evidence that the baby is Alex's, get few director's on her side to vote for Alex as the new chief director and everything would be there.
"She's pregnant," Alex repeated calmly.
"That's the best news I have heard in a long time. Do you love my son?" She asked Olga and Olga nodded.
"Son, it's time. You guys are getting married by the end of next month. We have give weeks to put everything ready and your mother is going to plan a wedding for you that will be the talk of town. What you will do now is to go and tell your dad that you guys want to get married on 29th next month it will be on a weekend," Emelda planned and Alex stared at her confused first he was surprised with everything that his mother was saying then he never planned to be a father at such a time let alone to be a husband.
He still needed time to absorb the news that he will be a father before he is added a responsibility of being a husband.
"Son, you dad is back, let's go, he will be glad,"
