Sitting at the bar in Eden's house, he narrated what happened to him and Eden was surprised. Eden was drinking alcohol but he wasn't, he doesn't drink on a weekday.
"In all this what's your take about her?" Eden asked.
"She seemed so sure of herself, I'll give it a try and see," he shrugged.
"I have work tomorrow so early, I need to get going," he added getting up.
"Ok, my sweetheart sent her regards. Yvonne doesn't mean any harm don't be too distanced with her. She asks so many questions and even thinks you hate her," Eden complained.
"It's respect not distancing," he responded heading to the door as much as he wanted to tell his brother the truth Yvonne apologized and he didn't want to hurt him.
How will he explain to Eden that his fiancee seduced him and even gave herself to him freely? He has been close to Eden and knows how much he loves her making him despise women except one and the second one is about to join the list if she succeeds to help him.
Since that day, he always distanced himself from her and avoids any talk with Eden about her.
After so much work Blanca succeeded to convince her mom to get Aiden's address and how to get into the compound.
She waited at a distance and immediately the gate was opened she ran inside the compound.
Getting down from his car he stops this strange being in his compound but he wasn't scared, there is nothing the creature can do to him after all.
He opened the door and switched on all the security lights to see who it was and scoffed seeing him.
"What do you want?" He asked and she walked closer.
"I want to talk to you,"
"I'm listening,"
"Can we please go in?"
"This is my house and I pull the shots so I'm listening,"
"It's cold out here, please,"
He walked inside and she walked behind him calmly. He sat on the couch and rested his head back.
"I don't have the whole night,"
"I know the first time we met wasn't the best and I'm here to start afresh,"
"What's your name again?"
"Blanca,"
"Why should we start afresh and what are we starting afresh?"
"A relationship,"
He laughed.
"Relationship between you and who?"
"Between us, if we are going to be living together we should start by being friends,"
"Stop living in fantasy, I never told you, I'll marry you so leave my house," he instructed.
She untied the dress and on getting up, it fell off leaving her with her undies. She was expecting a reaction from him but nothing happened. He just stared at her then got up from the couch.
"Once done with your nonsense remember to lock my door behind you," he said and walked to the kitchen.
He needed a glass of milk before going to bed.
Blanca was disappointed and embarrassed, she picked her dress, put it on and walked out.
After work she went to the park but nothing cheered up her mood, she missed Pablo, then remembering the crazy deal she made earlier added to her worries.
After he left, she had a clear view of what she got herself into and realized she took herself to the slaughter house.
She felt cheap, she always held her innocence with treasure but she just traded it away for money.
She promised herself to never leave her baby the same way her mother did but seems like she will deliver and give up her baby to him.
She had seventy percent probability of not succeeding and if the later is true, she will sleep with a stranger.
"Damn it!" She cursed hitting the car tyre with her leg and ending up getting hurt.
"You are the one who needs help," Isa had once told her before but today she understood the meaning of those words.
She limped inside the car and started massaging her fingers till she felt better then started the car heading on. The traffic was something else but after the long time of waiting she finally got home.
Switching on the lights to her house, it struck her eyes the she had to close them first to adopt to the environment.
In one hand she had her handbag and the other hand was a bottle of alcohol that she bought on her way home, at this time she needed that more than anything else.
She wanted to be in a different world even if it will just be for a moment. Annie dropped her handbag on the couch, the bottle on the table and went to the kitchen to get herself a glass.
As much as she wanted to drink in the noisy club, she didn't want to embarrass herself as this would be the first time she is tasting alcohol.
She has always known it's always bad for the health and even advices her clients to stay away from it but right now to hell with the health.
What's the use of being healthy if life itself is not healthy? Coming from the kitchen somebody knocked on her door and though she didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment she just had to open.
What if it's the neighbor and she is has a problem? She dropped the glass on the table beside the bottle and walked to open the door to meet Isa.
"Will my life get any better?" She said between her teeth as she allowed her in. They have been friends since she was seventeen and they met when she worked part-time as a sales girl in a fashion store.
It was Isa's birthday and her mother brought her there to pick a dress for her seventeenth birthday, it was also the same day she found out they were sharing birthdays, and it was the beginning of their friendship.
Isa has always stood by her and supported her except her career but it can't erase all the good memories, she just couldn't be angry at her forever.
"Bestie I'm sorry, I promise to support your career from to...," Her statement stuck in her mouth immediately she saw the bottle of alcohol on the table.
"Do you have a guest that I don't know about?" Isa asked.
"I don't have a guest," she answered.
"You don't drink and Pablo doesn't drink also, what's that doing in your house?" Isa pointed at the glass and she sighed.
"Going through a rough time, I just wanted to forget all my problems,"
"You can talk to me, you see that alcohol you won't drink it. Your pillar has arrived," Isa picked the bottle and glass returning them to the kitchen.
"What happened at work this two days to get you here?" She asked coming back with two glasses of juice.
She to was surprised to meet foodstuffs in the kitchen, last she checked nothing was there.
"Bring my alcohol first," she requested.
"You have never drank all your life, we can solve anything without alcohol. What's the problem? Did you win cash? The kitchen is full,"
"A client paid $10000 for one session,"
Isa rushed to the couch, dropped the glasses on the table and sat next to her to hear all the details.
If someone can pay such an amount then it isn't that bad for a career, is it?
"Wow, that's good news. How many sessions do you think you will have? I think you should have them for one month, girl you will be rich," Isa smiled and Annie turned to face her.
"Why that look? I'm only looking out for you, you deserve some rest and vacations,"
"His case is impossible, I don't think I can," she admitted.
"If you separate, it becomes I'm possible, I trust you girl," she picked one glass and sipped from it.
"I got myself in a big mess,"
"Why are you talking in a language I don't understand? What is really wrong? I know you never share your clients issues with anyone and I respect that but you will have to tell me this one. What's the mess,"
"Swear that you will never tell anyone,"
"You know I can't,"
"I swore in school,"
"Ok, I swear not to open my mouth to tell anyone and if I do, I'm ready to die,"
"Since he was fifteen, he has never had an erection,"
"Is this some kind of joke? It's not fool's day,"
"It's true,"
"He needs a doctor and not you,"
"It's an effect of trauma. I think something happened to him when he was fifteen,"
"This is too much,"
"I made a deal with him, if it doesn't work out we go to hospital and I carry a baby for him,"
"What?"
"If it works out, I be the first woman he sleeps with," she added and the glass on Isa's hand dropped on the floor breaking into pieces with the juice spreading in the room.
