The room was filled with power as Theo once again entered. He huffed and his confusion grew as he saw that Daniel was one of the occupants.
“What are you doing here, Daniel?”
“Solving mysteries, it seems. Please have a seat, cousin.”
Theo reluctantly sat down in his chair at the head of the table. He stared at Daniel, who strolled around the room mindlessly. Theo was eager for answers and he was glad that they had finally found some. But a part of him was against Daniel’s involvement in this.
“So tell me how exactly you become a part of the investigation, Daniel?”
“I figured that I'd put my skills to good use. I have unique knowledge of the creatures outside these borders. So, I went and talked to Cane and that was how I figured it out.”
“Explain,” Theo said and Daniel replied.
