"Alpha, there's been a breach at the border!"
Theo's protective instincts kicked in as soon as the warrior screamed out the warning. He grabbed Sophie by the shoulders with a stern look in his eyes.
"Go to your room, lock yourself inside, and don't come out until I come find you."
"Okay." Sophie nodded frantically. She ran off and Theo watched her until he was sure that she was safe.
As soon as Sophie was out of harm's way, Theo could focus on the threat.
"Let's go!"
The guard sprinted off to the side of the border that was being attacked and Theo followed behind him. Theo's mind couldn't help but wonder about the last time someone had trespassed and caused his people harm. The images of the flames danced in his head as he weaved his way through the land's vegetation.
In record time they made it to the border and the scene could only be described as chaotic. Numerous warriors lay injured on the ground, almost all of them groaning in pain.
